Emerging Artists Theatre will present Three Chords of the Apocalypse: A Transcriber's Tale written and performed by Joanna Parson and directed by Aimee Todoroff. The workshop production is part of the 2022 New Work Series. Performance takes place at TADA Theatre in Manhattan on October 13th at 7pm. Running time is 60 minutes with a talkback afterward.

Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center and Andrea Meyerson Productions (AMP) have announced the return of their enormously popular lesbian comedy spectaculars, celebrating the first opportunity to gather together in more than two years. These shows will feature five of today’s most hilarious lesbian comics and will take place over two evenings — Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3. Net proceeds all ticket sales benefit the full range of the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s free and low-cost programs and services.

KPFK Radio's Arts in Review, Los Angeles's longest-running radio showcase on live theater and cabaret, presents its annual Holiday Special, featuring the AIR Repertory Players under the direction of Irene Arranga, highlighted by the premiere of Christmastime in the City (the story of “Silver Bells”) and the encore of 2017's Christmas in Tinseltown (the story of “White Christmas”), both written by Julio Martinez. Also featured is the holiday music of Al Jarreau and Jane Fuller.
