Today the New York Comedy Festival (NYCF) announced the addition of more than 100 shows to the 2019 week-long laugh fest. The festival, which runs from November 4th-10th, will be taking place at some of New York City's most iconic venues, including the Beacon Theatre, Carnegie Hall, Carolines on Broadway, Madison Square Garden, Town Hall, and the Tribeca Performing Arts Center among others.

Global content studio Pulse Films has partnered with international journalist Noor Tagouri's At Your Service to produce a new multi-part non-fiction series :In America with Noor. The show, which highlights hot-button domestic issues for international audiences, will be executive produced by Tagouri and At Your Service's Adam Khafif, and Marisa Clifford, Dan Baglio and Thomas Benski, for Pulse Films. The series is heading to market early fall 2019.

Today, the Newseum unveiled its newest exhibit, 'Seriously Funny: From the Desk of 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.'' This furiously funny exhibit explores the impact Comedy Central's 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' had on American politics and the press through four presidential campaigns, two wars and the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. More than 50 artifacts will be on display, highlighting the power of political satire — a form of free speech protected under the First Amendment — and comedy's influence on the news. The exhibit also features an original Newseum-produced film that goes behind the scenes at 'The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.'

Netflix and OWN announced today that the closing night of Netflix's Emmy® FYSEE showcase, featuring a special in-depth conversation hosted by executive producer Oprah Winfrey, with Emmy®-winner Ava DuVernay and the cast of their four-part limited series, When They See Us – will be recorded to premiere on Netflix and OWN, Wednesday June 12 at 10p ET/PT (immediately following the Season Four premiere of DuVernay's critically acclaimed “Queen Sugar” at 9p on OWN). Oprah Winfrey Presents When They See Us Now, will also feature Winfrey's sit down interview with The Exonerated Five men of the Central Park Five 1989 case for the very first time. These conversations, closing out Netflix's immersive FYSEE experience, will take place at Raleigh Studios in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 9th.
