This week the high school kids of Broadway's Mean Girls got a lesson in greatness when Tony Award-winner Bernadette Peters stopped by to check out the show. See a photo from her visit with the cast below!

Tony Award nominee Jennifer Simard (Disaster!, Hello, Dolly!) will join the cast of Mean Girls as Mrs. Heron / Ms. Norbury / Mrs. George beginning Today, September 11.

With the support of Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS (http:www.broadwaycares.org) and in partnership with When We All Vote (www.whenweallvote.org), stars of Broadway have come together to form #BeltTheVote, a nonpartisan social media campaign encouraging all people to register and vote - most urgently on November 6th.  The nationwide movement, made up of theaters, schools and various artistic communities, is dedicated to giving America's theater lovers the information and tools they need to get out to the polls and vote. 

Broadway Workshop, the country's top training program for young performers, celebrated their tenth anniversary summer by welcoming Broadway's biggest stars to lead programs in New York City. 

The 'Mean Girls Original Broadway Cast Recording' is officially available on vinyl! Earlier today, Urban Outfitters hosted an exclusive fan signing event with members of the Mean Girls Broadway cast and creative team at their flagship Herald Square store location (1333 Broadway between 35th and 36th Streets). The "Mean Girls Original Broadway Cast Recording" on Atlantic Records will get a vinyl release on Friday, August 24. The next week, Urban Outfitters will host an exclusive fan signing event with members of the Mean Girls Broadway cast and creative team at their flagship Herald Square store location

How fetch! Mean Girls will celebrate "Mean Girls Day" on October 3, which this year falls on a "pink" Wednesday, with a free fan performance! The show will take place at 7:00pm at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street), featuring special appearances by members of the Mean Girls creative team. Tickets to the fan performance can be won by entering a special digital lottery, which is now open at www.MeanGirlsonBroadway.com/Oct3.

The 2018 Jimmy Awards took place on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 7:30pm at the Minskoff Theatre on Broadway. Laura Benanti hosted. The coveted Jimmy Awards for Best Performance by an Actress and Best Performance by an Actor were presented to Renee Rapp, The Blumey Awards (Charlotte, NC) and Andrew Barth Feldman, The Roger Rees Awards for Excellence in Student Performance (New York, NY).
