The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will soon presents the Broadway Center Stage production of Footloose. The cast is led by J. Quinton Johnson (Choir Boy, Hamilton, Broadway Center Stage: In the Heights) as Ren McCormack, Judy Kuhn (Fun Home, Les Misérables) as Ethel McCormack, Isabelle McCalla (The Prom, Aladdin) as Ariel Moore, Michael Park (Dear Evan Hansen) as Reverend Shaw Moore, and three-time Tony Award nominee Rebecca Luker as Vi Moore (Mary Poppins, the Kennedy Center's Little Dancer). Head Over Heels, the new musical comedy featuring the iconic songs of The Go-Go's - the most successful female rock band of all time - will play its final Broadway performance at Hudson Theatre (141 West 44th Street) on Sunday, January 6, 2019. Head Over Heels, which began preview performances on Saturday, June 23 and officially opened on Thursday, July 26, 2018, will have played 188 regular performances and 37 previews.

The cast of Head Over Heels will bring their beat to the 2018 Thanksgiving Day Parade on CBS! The parade will be broadcast live from New York City beginning at 9 AM EST on Thursday, November 22. Head Over Heels joins previously announced Broadway cast performances by Dear Evan Hansen and King Kong. Kevin Frazier and correspondent Keltie Knight of 'Entertainment Tonight' will host the three-hour television special featuring portions of the 92nd Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Emmy Award-winning producers Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss ('The Tony Awards') serve as executive producers; Weiss will also direct.

On Sunday, October 21, the company of the new Broadway musical HEAD OVER HEELS, featuring the music of The Go-Go's, celebrated 100 performances at the Hudson Theatre.  The cast was joined by Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day; American Idiot) at the post-matinee champagne toast next door at Hunt & Fish Club, with a special 'Arcadian' royal cake by Broadway baker, Cute as Cake.
