The Broadway production of To Kill a Mockingbird, Aaron Sorkin's new play, directed by Bartlett Sher, and based on Harper Lee's classic novel, will become the first-ever Broadway play to perform at The World's Most Famous Arena, New York's Madison Square Garden, in front of approximately 18,000 New York City public school students.

Producers Scott Rudin and Barry Diller announced today that Academy Award nominee and two-time Emmy Award winner Greg Kinnear will make his Broadway debut in the iconic role of 'Atticus Finch' in the Broadway production of To Kill a Mockingbird, Aaron Sorkin's new play, directed by Bartlett Sher, and based on Harper Lee's classic novel, beginning Tuesday, April 21. Two-time Golden Globe® winner Ed Harris' final performance will be on Sunday, April 19.

Lauder, will welcome guests to An Unforgettable Evening. This year, actress Renée Zellweger will receive the 2020 Courage Award for her charitable contributions and philanthropic efforts throughout her career, including her support of breast cancer research and awareness. The event, which will be hosted by actor, comedian, and producer Ken Jeong, will take place at the Beverly Wilshire, and benefit the WCRF, a program of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).

 'The Soup' is heating up at E! as the iconic comedy franchise returns with new host, comedian and actress Jade Catta-Preta. The weekly half-hour pop culture commentary series premieres Wednesday, February 12 at 10:00pm ET/PT.

E! announced today that the network will serve fresh new episodes of its long-running, legendary franchise, 'The Soup,' hosted by comedian and actress Jade Catta-Preta. Premiering in early 2020, the evolved and supercharged series will feature Catta-Preta's irreverent sense of humor and sharp point-of-view on the entertainment world.  The Hollywood Film Awards announced today that highly-acclaimed artists Antonio Banderas, Renée Zellweger, Al Pacino and Laura Dern will be honored at the 23rd Annual “Hollywood Film Awards.”  Banderas will receive the “Hollywood Actor Award” for his poignant turn in Pedro Almodóvar's 21st film, “Pain and Glory” and Zellweger will receive the “Hollywood Actress Award” for her powerful portrayal of the iconic Judy Garland in Rupert Goold's “Judy.”  Pacino will receive the “Hollywood Supporting Actor Award” for his brilliant depiction of the infamous Jimmy Hoffa in Martin Scorsese's mob masterpiece “The Irishman,” and Dern will receive the “Hollywood Supporting Actress Award” for her commanding performance as a hard-hitting divorce attorney in Noah Baumbach's “Marriage Story.”  Actor and comedian Rob Riggle will host the ceremony, which will take place on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA.

Kinnear joins previously announced cast members James Marsden, Amber Heard, Heather Graham, Odessa Young, Jovan Adepo, Owen Teague, Henry Zaga, Brad William Henke, Eion Bailey, Katherine McNamara, Hamish Linklater, Alexander Skarsgård and Whoopi Goldberg.

The Santa Barbara International Film Festival announced today that Renée Zellweger is set to receive the illustrious American Riviera Award in January 2020. Zellweger will be recognized for her many attributes to the art of film over the years, and most recently, her work as Judy Garland in LD Entertainment and Roadside Attractions' JUDY. The tribute will take place at the historic Arlington Theatre during the 35th Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

Hulu and Bleecker Street have partnered on a new output deal granting Hulu exclusive SVOD rights to all upcoming Bleecker Street theatrical films. The deal was negotiated by Andrew Karpen, Kent Sanderson and Avy Eschenasy on behalf of Bleecker Street.

Netflix has released the trailer for THE RED SEA DIVING RESORT, starring Chris Evans and Michael K. Williams and directed by Gideon Raff.

Peninsula Players Theatre, in conjunction with its world premi re production of A Trick of the Light, will host a free pre-show seminar with playwright Peter Moore Thursday, June 20, at 6:30 p.m. in the theater. Moore will share the process of having his play produced for the first time. That evening he will also participate in a post-show discussion with the creative team and cast. Tickets to the performances are available, however, admission to the pre-show seminar is free.

Huntington Theatre Company board and staff are celebrating breaking their fundraising record at the Spotlight Spectacular gala, Monday, May 6. Held at the Boston Center for the Arts Cyclorama, the gala brought in $1.3 million to support the Huntington's operations for the fiscal year, including its broad range of education and community outreach programs.

Sarasota Film Festival Produces Another Great Festival

Huntington Theatre Company Board Chairman David Epstein, Education Committee Chair Betsy Banks Epstein, and Norma Jean Calderwood Artistic Director Peter DuBois will be honored with the Wimberly Award at the 2019 Spotlight Spectacular on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 6pm at the Cyclorama at the Boston Center for the Arts. The Spotlight Spectacular co-chairs are Cokie and Lee Perry and Linda and Daniel Waintrup.

Chris O'Dowd will be moving into a land of both shadow and substance in THE TWILIGHT ZONE. O'Dowd will star in the episode titled “The Blue Scorpion,” written by Glen Morgan, which will also feature Amy Landecker.

That's the signpost up ahead for Seth Rogen, as he will star in an upcoming episode of THE TWILIGHT ZONE written by Alex Rubens. THE TWILIGHT ZONE will debut with two episodes on Monday, April 1. Following the series premiere, new episodes of the anthology series will be available on demand weekly on Thursdays beginning April 11, exclusively for CBS All Access subscribers.
