The Los Angeles LGBT Center will honor Grammy winner, philanthropist, and writer Ricky Martin; producer, writer, director Greg Berlanti and his husband producer Robbie Rogers; and philanthropist Ariadne Getty at its 49th Anniversary Gala Vanguard Awards. One of the nation's premier LGBT charity events, the Center's Anniversary Gala Vanguard Awards brings together more than 1,200 of the region's most important leaders and influencers in the civic, corporate, entertainment, and philanthropic communities to celebrate this year's inspirational honorees for their unwavering support of the LGBT community and their dedication to creating positive change in the world.
History Orders Second Season of KNIGHTFALL, Mark Hamill to Join Cast

HISTORY has greenlit a second season of its Knights Templar drama series 'Knightfall' with Mark Hamill (Star Wars, BAFTA-winning voice of The Joker) joining the cast and Aaron Helbing ('The Flash,' 'Spartacus: War of the Damned') on board as showrunner and executive producer, it was announced today by Eli Lehrer, Executive Vice President of Programming, HISTORY. From A+E Studios, in association with Jeremy Renner's The Combine and Midnight Radio, 'Knightfall' is a tentpole of the network's strong roster of premium drama series, including hit anchor series 'Vikings' and the upcoming 'Project Blue Book,' executive produced by Robert Zemeckis and starring Aidan Gillen ('Game of Thrones') and Michael Malarkey ('The Vampire Diaries').

Ruby Rose to Star in BATWOMAN for the CW

Ruby Rose is set to play Batwoman, the lesbian superhero for the CW, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Rose's Batwoman will first appear in the December DC crossover event, with Greg Berlanti planning a stand-alone series revolving around the character.

THE CW and DC to Produce BATWOMAN TV Series

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the CW is teaming with DC's small-screen universe mastermind Greg Berlanti to develop Batwoman as a TV series. The character of Batwoman will officially be introduced in December as part of The CW's annual DC series crossover event.

Melissa Benoist, who currently steals the screen in the title role of The CW's hit show, 'Supergirl', just made her Broadway debut as Carole King this summer in Broadway's hit, Beautiful-The Carole King Musical. Ms. Benoist just began performances on June 7 and will play a limited run through August 4th, 2018. We hung out with Melissa backstage after her debut performance. Check out photos below!
