Jazz vocalist Kiki Ebsen and Bogies Bar at the Westlake Village Inn have announced that Joellen Lapidus, quintessential artist who introduced the dulcimer to Joni Mitchell, will make a guest appearance with the band on Mitchell's composition, 'Carey,' Thursday, Nov. 7, at 7:30 pm at Bogies at the Westlake Village Inn. Kiki Ebsen's Joni Mitchell Project is returning to Bogies after a sold-out show at Bogies in April this year in time to celebrate Mitchell's 76th birthday with an evening of her iconic music.

Each year, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame honors rock music's pioneering figures during a prestigious, black-tie ceremony. As the Hall of Fame enters its third decade, it's these extraordinary induction ceremonies -- featuring the biggest names in classic rock from the '60s, '70s and '80s - that have become nearly as epic as the artists they celebrate. Joni Mitchell - one of the world's most-remarkable artists - turned 75 November 7, 2019. To celebrate this milestone, The Music Center, Los Angeles' premiere performing arts center, assembled an incredible group of singers and musicians at The Music Center's Dorothy Chandler Pavilion to perform Mitchell's songs at a pair of sold-out shows that garnered rave reviews by those in attendance. THE MUSIC CENTER PRESENTS JONI 75: A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION, a DVD compilation of 21 of those standout performances, will be available on March 29, 2019, from Rhino for $19.98.

On Joni's 75th birthday last November, a star-studded roster of musicians gathered together to pay tribute to the legendary singer-songwriter. The evening was recorded and is now subsequently being released. The Boulder International Film Festival (BIFF) is pleased to announce Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and former lead singer of The Wallflowers, Jakob Dylan, will make a special appearance for the film Echo in The Canyon at BIFF's Closing Night on Sunday, March 3 at the Boulder Theater. This special screening of Echo In The Canyon, directed by music-industry veteran Andrew Slater and starring Jakob Dylan, features the sounds of LA's famous Laurel Canyon music scene in the '60s—including music from The Byrds, The Beach Boys, Buffalo Springfield, The Mamas & The Papas and more.

Honoring one of the world's most revered artists, Joni Mitchell, on her 75th birthday, The Music Center Presents Joni 75: A Birthday Celebration brings an incredible array of singers and musicians to cinemas across the US and Canada for a one-night-only celebration on February 7, 2019 in collaboration with global event cinema distributor Trafalgar Releasing and The Music Center, Los Angeles' premiere performing arts center.

This December, City Winery New York and City Winery Nashville will be opening their doors to collect unused and unwanted musical instruments and equipment in good and working condition to donate to two fantastic causes working toward a better future for youth growing up in challenging circumstances and conflict zones. The amnesty is being organized in partnership with award-winning charity, In Place of War and Ronnie Scott's Charitable Foundation. All instruments, equipment and monetary donations will benefit Cultura y Libertad located in Medellín, Colombia and The Haven, located in South Bronx NYC (more information below).

Joni Mitchell, master songsmith and storyteller, eight-time Grammy winner and folk music pioneer is the inspiration for  JONI, Morrison Hotel Gallery's upcoming photography exhibit and sale opening on Friday, November 16th   at the Sunset Marquis Hotel location in Los Angeles, the New York City gallery on Prince Street in SoHo and the gallery in Maui at Mick Fleetwood's General Store and restaurant. The exhibit will be up through December 10th.
