The Boulder International Film Festival (BIFF) is pleased to announce Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and former lead singer of The Wallflowers, Jakob Dylan, will make a special appearance for the film Echo in The Canyon at BIFF's Closing Night on Sunday, March 3 at the Boulder Theater. This December, City Winery New York and City Winery Nashville will be opening their doors to collect unused and unwanted musical instruments and equipment in good and working condition to donate to two fantastic causes working toward a better future for youth growing up in challenging circumstances and conflict zones. The amnesty is being organized in partnership with award-winning charity, In Place of War and Ronnie Scott's Charitable Foundation. All instruments, equipment and monetary donations will benefit Cultura y Libertad located in Medellín, Colombia and The Haven, located in South Bronx NYC (more information below).

James Taylor and Brandi Carlile will join Glen Hansard, Emmylou Harris, Norah Jones, Chaka Khan, Diana Krall, Kris Kristofferson, Los Lobos, Graham Nash, Seal, and Rufus Wainwright to perform songs from Mitchell's prolific career. Scarlet Riverawill be a featured guest member of the band. Co-musical directors providing the musical arrangements for the evenings are drummer Brian Blade, who recorded three studio albums and toured extensively with Mitchell, and, pianist, composer, arranger producer Jon Cowherd. The Music Center's Artistic Advisor Jorn Weisbrodt is the creator of the two evenings, and Danny Kapilian is the music producer.
