St. George's Theatre's live telethon, 'Let's Hang On' raised over $60,000 for the venue.

On Sunday, August 2 at 7PM EST the St. George Theatre will present the 'Let's Hang On' Virtual Telethon to benefit the theatre's relief fund in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

For the second year in a row, Hamilton will host a special fan performance on Thursday, October 31 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway, with all tickets for the 7:00pm performance being sold for $10.

On Sunday, members of the Broadway community gathered to support Stephanie Klemons and her not-for-profit organization, Katie's Art Project, for the 3rd Annual installation of [the art project] - A one-day-only gallery event that works to raise funds to connect children facing life-threatening illnesses with emerging and established artists through collaborative programs to create a lasting legacy through art.

Broadway veterans, R.Evolucion Latina's students from adult and children's program and volunteers joined hands to support the organization and its yearly programming at Harlem School of the Arts. The Dance-A-Thon is not only a fundraiser but also an annual reflection of the organization's mission.

For the past 6 years, R.Evolucion Latina (RL) has come together as a community to raise funds by daring to go beyond by dancing for 5 hours at their annual Dance-A-Thon. This grassroots event, has raised more than $200,000 since its inception.

On Wednesday, October 31 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway, all available tickets for the 8:00pm performance of HAMILTON will be sold for $10.

In celebration of outstanding achievement in high school musical theater performances, Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to announce the award recipients of the Seventh Annual Illinois High School Musical Theater Awards sponsored by NBC 5: Darian Goulding of Hampshire, IL (Hampshire High School) as BEST ACTOR for his portrayal of "The Beast" in BEAUTY & THE BEAST and Natalie Doppelt of Deerfield, IL (Deerfield High School) as BEST ACTRESS for her portrayal of "Sister Mary Robert" in SISTER ACT. Darian and Natalie will represent the state of Illinois at The Jimmy Awards (also known as The National High School Musical Theatre Awards) in New York on June 25, 2018.

Broadway In Chicago is delighted to announce the twenty-four students nominated for Best Actor and Best Actress, and nominees for Best Production presented by Guardian Music Travel, Best Direction and Best Scenic Design presented by SPL for the seventh annual Illinois High School Musical Theatre Awards. The nominees (12 young actors and 12 young actresses), selected after evaluating 80 productions across the state of Illinois, have been invited to participate in the Awards program, which will be held at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut) on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 6:30PM and hosted by NBC 5 entertainment reporter LeeAnn Trotter.
