Pasadena Playhouse, The State Theater of California, presents The Father, written by Florian Zeller, translated by Christopher Hampton and directed by Jessica Kubzansky, now through March 1, 2020. The production stars Alfred Molina (Frieda, An Education, Enchanted April) in a tour-de-force role in perhaps one of the most awarded plays of recent times on two continents – winning the 2014 Molière Award, and nominations for the Evening Standard Theatre Award, Olivier Award for Best New Play, and Tony Award for Best Play.

Art House Productions And The Tank Bring WHEN  WE WENT ELECTRONIC To Jersey City

Art House Productions (Executive Director Meredith Burns) is pleased to announce the New Jersey Premiere of WHEN WE WENT ELECTRONIC by Caitlyn Saylor Stevens, with songs by Sarah Frances Cagianese and Caitlin Saylor Stephens at Art House Productions, March 19-April 5. Directed by Meghan Finn, the production was hailed as 'absurdist edginess' and 'taut and brutal' by The New York Times while at The Tank in 2018. Art House's production will feature actors Tiffany Iris and Madelyn Rose Robinson.

On Monday, February 10th The League of Professional Theatre Women (Shellen Lubin and Catherine Porter, Co-Presidents), an organization which has been championing women in the professional theatre for over three decades, hosted an Oral History Project event with renowned Broadway publicist Irene Gandy in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts (111 Amsterdam Avenue at 65th Street). For the second installment of the Oral History Project's 2019-2020 season, publicist, producer, and PR maven Irene Gandy discussed her life and ground breaking career with producer Voza Rivers, Artistic Director of the New Heritage Theatre Group.

Netflix has released the season two trailer for Altered Carbon, starring Anthony Mackie, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Lela Loren, Simone Missick, Chris Conner, Dina Shihabi and Torben Liebrecht. In Altered Carbon, society is transformed by new technology: consciousness can be digitized; human bodies are interchangeable; death is no longer permanent.

Full Company Announced For THE SECRET GARDEN Concert

Lambert Jackson Productions today announce the full company for concert performances of The Secret Garden. Joining the previously announced Lucie Jones, Ramin Karimloo, and Jac Yarrow are Sarah Bakker (Rose), Bianca Baykara (Alice), Adam J Bernard (Ben Weatherstaff), Lucy Drever (Narrator), Louise Ellard-Turnbull (Mrs Winthrop), Ben Forster (Neville Craven), Sejal Keshwala (Ayah), Melanie La Barrie (Mrs Medlock), Johndeep More (Fakir), Michael Riseley (Captain Albert Lennox), Celinde Schoenmaker (Lily), and sharing the roles of Colin Craven are Finley Glasgow and Isaac Lancel Watkinson, and of Mary are Aoife Hughes and Darcy Jacobs, with Trinity Laban Musical Theatre forming the ensemble. The production runs at The London Palladium on 4 April, 3pm and 7.30pm.

Patchogue Theatre Presents THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK

The not-for-profit Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts is pleased to announce the cast and creative for the next production in its Live Edition educational initiative. City Circle Theatre Company Announces 2020–2021 Season

City Circle Theatre Company of Coralville is proud to announce its 2020a?"21 season. The season includes the play Puffs, a Potter-inspired comedy and spoof about secondary characters in a certain boy wizard's world; Elf The Musical, the modern-day Christmas classic based on the beloved film; a concert version of the Tony Award winning musical The Secret Garden; the provocative, electrifying rock musical Spring Awakening; and the outrageous musical comedy; Spamalot for the annual teen show. 

The Museum at Bethel Woods Brings Psychedelic Francisco to the East Coast with New Exhibit

On April 4th, The Museum at Bethel Woods, located at the site of the 1969 Woodstock festival, will open for the 2020 season with the Special Exhibit Lights, Color, Fashion: Psychedelic Posters and Patterns of 1960s San Francisco. This exhibit showcases a phenomenal ensemble of San Francisco rock posters and fashion from the kaleidoscopic years of 1964 to 1972, gathered by collector Gary Westford.

Mountain Jam Music Festival Announces 2020 Weekend Lineup, Featuring Gov't Mule, Brandi Carlile, & More! 

Mountain Jam, one of the Northeast's largest rock n' roll music festivals, now in its 16th continuous year, has announced its lineup for the three-day music extravaganza May 29-31, 2020. The Festival will feature over 30 bands across three days including headliners Trey Anastasio Band, Gov't Mule, and Brandi Carlile plus performances from Jason Isbell And The 400 Unit, The Head and the Heart, Grace Potter, Greensky Bluegrass, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Margo Price, Yola, Hiss Golden Messenger and many more across three stages (full lineup by day below). SI Museum Celebrates Centennial Of Women's Suffrage With New Exhibition

This March, to coincide with Women's History Month, the Staten Island Museum marks the centennial of the 19th Constitutional Amendment with a new exhibition, Women of the Nation Arise! Staten Islanders in the Fight for Women's Right to Vote. The exhibition will present the remarkable stories of local suffragists acting on the grassroots level to create the momentum necessary for regional and national change and the bold tactics they employed to win the vote.
