Performers included Elijah Ahmad Lewis, Esther Antoine, Jamari Johnson Williams, Jelani Remy, Marcus Paul James, Morgan McGhee, Saint Aubyn, Shawn Bowers, Ta'Nika Gibson, Corey West, and Tiffany Frances along with guests Lindsay Gloriana Bohon, Anthony Fett and 'Rising Star' Jesse Michael Allison.

Artist Francis Donnelly Wolf Presents STRETCHING VISIONS In Majestic Theater Art Gallery

Singer/Actress Marissa Mulder moved to New York City in 2007 from Syracuse, NY and has gone on to become one of the most successful young cabaret artists on the Manhattan scene. In 2011, she beat out 60 other singers to win the Metro Star Challenge at the Metropolitan Room, an American Idol type contest for up and coming cabaret artists. Since then she has performed in several of her own shows. The Rose Art Museum Has Announced a Gift of 50 Important Works on Paper from Collector Stephen Salny

The Rose Art Museum has announced the gift of 50 works on paper from Baltimore-based collector Stephen Salny. This gift includes pieces by some of today's leading artists and significantly includes a number of works by Ellsworth Kelly, as well as pieces by Anni Albers, Josef Albers, Sonia Delaunay, Helen Frankenthaler, Damien Hirst, Jasper Johns, Alex Katz, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Motherwell, Richard Serra, and Frank Stella. Many of the works enrich already existing clusters of work by the same artists while others are new to the Rose's permanent collection.

Patchogue Theatre Presents THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK

Sacred Fools Opens West Coast Premiere Of ANTIGONE

The Sacred Fools Theater Company is rounding out its Prime Season with the West Coast Premiere of Antigone, Presented by the Girls of St. Catherine's by Madhuri Shekar, directed by Reena Dutt. Opening Friday, March 6 and running through April 11 in the Broadwater Main Stage, the show will run Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, with Sunday matinees on March 22 and 29, and April 5 at 3pm and one performance on Monday, March 30 at 8pm. 

CalArts Has Appointed João Ribas as Executive Director of the Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater

California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) today announced the appointment of João Ribas as the Steven D. Lavine Executive Director of the Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater (REDCAT), and Vice President for Cultural Partnerships. REDCAT is CalArts' multidisciplinary center for innovative visual, performing, and media artists, and is part of the Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles County in downtown Los Angeles.

Urban Stages to Present The World Premiere of CHARMED LIFE, FROM SOUL SINGING TO OPERA STAR

Second Generation Theatre Announces 2020/2021 Season At Shea's Smith

Second Generation Theatre has announced its return to the Shea's Smith Theater for the 2020/2021 theatre season. SGT's season will include the compelling romantic drama Constellations, the musical revue Songs for a New World, and the professional regional premiere of the musical The Secret Garden.
