From today, February 10, through February 14 , every night will feature at least one show celebrating love and lust, including alt-pop singer Rachael Sage, cabaret goddess Bridget Everett, a night of Michael Jackson and Prince love songs led by Toshi Reagon, fiery soul star XAVIER and friends, the tantalizing Brown Girls Burlesque and the V-day edition of Never Sleep Alone. A Red Orchid Theatre continues its 22nd Season with the Chicago premiere of Red Handed Otter, written by Ethan Lipton, directed by Ensemble Member Dado, and featuring Ensemble Members Guy Van Swearingen and Mierka Girten with Bob Kruse, Luce Metrius and Ashley Neal. Ethan Lipton & his Orchestra return to Joe's Pub at The Public for a yearlong residency, wherein they will perform a different show every month -- no two will be the same -- starting in January 2015. Lipton will kick off the residency tonight, Wednesday, January 21 at 6:30PM with an encore performance of his show No Place to Go, which The Public Theater presented as part of the 2012 season.
