The West End transfer of Neil Simon's hit comedy PLAZA SUITE will extend its season at the Savoy Theatre by two weeks and will now run until 13 April 2024.

Following the sell-out hit, The Humans, Stephen Karam returns to Hampstead Theatre with the European premiere of his award-winning comedy, Sons of the Prophet, from 2 December to 14 January.

Dramatic Publishing has licensed the Broadway production of The Kite Runner, and a North American tour is being planned for 2024. Tour cities, dates and casting will be announced. The Kite Runner will have played 17 previews and 117 regular performances on Broadway.

On October 30, 2022, Broadway says goodbye to The Kite Runner, which plays its final performance at the Hayes Theater. The Kite Runner ran for 17 previews and 101 regular performances.

Déa Julien is making her Broadway debut as an understudy in The Kite Runner this summer, but it might not be in the role that you'd expect. Déa, who as a first generation American shares much of her background with the characters in the play, understudies the roles of Hassan/Sohrab, normally played by a male actor- Eric Sirakian. Brendan O'Hea returns to direct Globe on Tour, where a company of eight actors will once again offer audiences around the world a trio of plays which this year explore the themes of refuge and displacement. Continuing last summer's experiment, which revived the Shakespearean tradition of allowing audiences to vote for the play they'd like to see, this year's audiences will cast their votes for The Comedy of Errors, Twelfth Night or Pericles, all stories of lost families, new homes, and what it means to belong. The tour will return to the Globe stage for Refugee Week (17 - 23 June) as part of a wider programme of events in which refugee artists, performers and audiences will all share their stories.
