Adventure Theatre MTC (ATMTC), recipient of 62 Helen Hayes Nominations, announces that Broadway's Amber Iman will perform at its 2019 Mad Hatter's Honest Tea Party Gala, honoring Seth Goldman, Co-Founder and TeaEO Emeritus of Honest Tea and Executive Chairman of Beyond Meats, on March 14, 2019. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on the ultimate backstage experience to see Broadway's Hamilton, the musical (of which Amber Iman was part of the national cast) and take a backstage tour. Adventure Theatre MTC's 2019 Pre-Professional Company will sing with Amber Iman at the culmination of the evening performing Stephen Schwartz's (Wicked, Godspell) Colors of the Wind.

The West Wing's Melissa Fitzgerald, Broadway actor Heath Saunders, Emery Battis Award-winner Victoria Frings and Ken Clark, currently playing King Arthur in Camelot at STC, recently joined Members of Congress and notable Washingtonians onto the stage at Sidney Harman Hall to perform in Will on the Hill. Now in its sixteenth year, the much-loved bipartisan event took place on June 11 and raised $500,000 for the theatre's education and community outreach programs.
ROMEO AND JULIET Return to DC For Annual Free For All

Free For All, one of the capital's cherished annual traditions, will return this summer to Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC), offering two weeks of free performances of the Company's 2016 production of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet. Directed by STC Associate Artistic Director Alan Paul, whose hit production of Camelot has extended through July 8 due to popular demand, the production will run at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F St NW) from August 21-September 2, providing more than 12,000 people the chance to see the play free of charge.
