Dates are announced today for the 2021/2022 Premera Blue Cross Broadway at The Paramount season bringing back extraordinary entertainment to The Paramount Theatre. They have announced that they have rescheduled six shows and were able to add back the previously cancelled production of MEAN GIRLS to complete the season package.

Beautiful: The Carole King Musical began its performance on Wednesday night in Jackson, Mississippi with an empty stage, a grand piano, and a song that sets the tone for an incredible, emotional journey about to be undertaken. It would be really quite difficult to watch this musical and not leave with a smile on your face. Following a highly successful run at the King's Theatre in Glasgow in February 2018, the Olivier, Tony and Grammy award-winning BEAUTIFUL - THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL will return to the city next year.

It was announced earlier this year that, following a highly successful West End run/a run of two and a half years in the West End and a sell-out tour in 2017/18, BEAUTIFUL - THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL will hit the road again and tour throughout the UK and Ireland in 2020, opening at the Churchill Theatre Bromley on 11 January. The tour has just found its Carole! Daisy Wood-Davis will be taking on the role.

Beautiful: The Carole King Musical ended its Broadway run yesterday, October 27th, 2019, after having played 60 preview and 2,418 regular performances, surpassing the original production of Annie and the landmark 1998 revival of Cabaret to become the 27th longest-running musical (and the 2nd longest running 'bio-musical') in Broadway history.

While the Earth didn't exactly move during the national tour stop of BEAUTIFUL at the Hanover Theater in Worcester this week, this more successful than most biographical jukebox musical did set off an occasional temblor. No surprise, those moments came when the show's legendary subject, Carole King, was channeled by her doppelganger Kennedy Caughell alone at the piano.

The earth is still moving at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre, but only until October 27, 2019. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the musical, based on life of recording superstar Carole King, will conclude its record-breaking Broadway run in just over a month.
