In the rousing revival of the musical 'My Fair Lady' at New York's Lincoln Center, one of Britain's most acclaimed actresses, Dame Diana Rigg, makes her return to Broadway as Mrs. Higgins.

Catherine Zuber has won the 2018 Tony Award for Best Costume Design of a Musical for MY FAIR LADY.

It was announced today by The Theatre World Awards Board of Directors (Dale Badway, President), and The Dorothy Loudon Foundation (Lionel Larner, Executive Director), Ben Edelman (Admissions) will be honored with the 10th Annual Dorothy Loudon Award at the 74TH Annual Theatre World Awards Ceremony on the set of the TONY Nominated Broadway Revival of Once on This Island on Monday afternoon, June 4, 2018 beginning at 2:00 p.m at Circle in the Square

Lo scorso Primo Maggio Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton) e Katharine McPhee (Waitress) hanno annunciato le nominations dei Tony Awards 2018 che, anche quest'anno, si terranno al Radio City Music Hall di New York il 10 Giugno. I premi saranno presentati da Josh Groban (The Great Comet) e Sara Bareilles (Waitress, Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert) entrambi nominati nelle scorse edizioni e che per la prima volta saliranno sul palco come presentatori.

Manca poco al giorno piu atteso dalla comunita teatrale newyorkese (e non solo). Il 10 giugno al Radio City Music Hall di New York si svolgera la 72esima edizione dei Tony Awards, che quest'anno vedra sul palco in veste di presentatori Sara Bareilles e Josh Groban. Il primo maggio, in diretta streaming, Katharine McPhee e Leslie Odom Jr. hanno annunciato i nomi dei concorrenti in gara. Da subito e sembrato chiaro come questa edizione dell'importante premio del musical americano sia segnata da tre grandi titoli: 'Mean Girls', 'SpongeBob SquarePants' e 'The Band's Visit'.

The 2018 Tony nominees are already winners... literally. For some, this marks their first nomination, but others have already won Tony Awards in seasons past. We took a look at which nominees have won at least a Tony or two (or nine) - amongst them, they've gathered a total of 88 awards!

That's what leading man Harry Hadden-Paton thinks about the score to Lincoln Center Theatre's revival of My Fair Lady, which just opened last night at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre.

Lincoln Center Theater's new production of Lerner & Loewe's My Fair Lady, officially opens tonight at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). 

Theater for the New City and The Xoregos Performing Company are presenting Jean Racine's Britannicus, a classic French play with contemporary echoes related to politics and power, in May.
