Victory Productions has announced the full cast of their star-studded 'Rock of Ages' opening at the Garden Theatre on January 27th. A slew of Broadway veterans and several local professionals are joining the fantastic talents of Bo Bice, Omar Cardona, and Justin Sargent.

The Music Hall and Ogunquit Playhouse has announced the cast of Elf The Musical, on stage from November 30 – December 18 at The Music Hall in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Based on the beloved film, Elf The Musical is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole and raised as one of Santa's elves.

National Alliance for Musical Theatre has announced additional casting for their 34th Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS, which returns in person and takes place on Thursday, October 20 and Friday, October 21, 2022 at New World Stages.

For three nights only, from Friday, September 30 through Sunday, October 2, stage and screen performer Jason Gotay (“Gossip Girl,” Evita) brought his breathtaking vocals and gift of storytelling to the Minetta Lane Theatre in a musical narrative about the indelible role that women have played in his life. The Skivvies (Nick Cearley and Lauren Molina) are back at BCP for The  Rocky Horror Skivvies Show on October 26 at 8pm.  This is the 2nd year in a row for the  halloween concert treat that puts their signature stripped-down Skivvies stamp of mash-ups and medleys on the iconic score from the cult classic musical.

The world has changed a lot since 1945, when Carousel opened on Broadway.  The Tony Awards hadn’t been established yet.  Interracial marriage was not yet legal.  Its score speaks of a bygone era when people comported themselves with a certain modesty and societal rules were very different.  One would wonder how such a show has survived through the years, but Rodgers and Hammerstein’s second musical has themes that are relevant today.  Domestic violence, poor choices, hope, and redemption are all things that society still experiences.

The Skivvies are turning ten and employing the help of some special guests to celebrate. Get ready for the star studded lineup of Nick Adams, Tovah Feldshuh, Beth Malone, Lesli Margherita, Nathan Lee Graham, Aaron Marcellus, Marissa Rosen, Diana Huey , Leslie McDonel, and Jordan Kai Burnett. The performance will be 7pm on July 19th at Joe's Pub.

The artists of diversity in cabaret and concert are ready and willing to work - they just need to be invited to the table.
