Placer Repertory Theater has announced the cast for the Ghosts of Placer County mainstage world premiere, which performs the first two weekends of October in Roseville.

Following a two-year hiatus, everyone's 'favorite' fictional Las Vegas lounge diva, Trudy Carmichael is finally getting her chance to bring her critically acclaimed fully improvised cabaret, Trudy Carmichael Presents The Improvised One-Woman Show! to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe at 4:20pm from 5th -27th August (not 14th) at theSpaceUK Surgeons' Hall.

Ground Floor Theatre (GFT) announces GFT In Residence, a new quarterly artist in residence program beginning this month with the first artist named as comedian Laura de le Fuente. This new program allows Ground Floor Theatre to expand their mission driven work supporting art by and for unrepresented communities. Artists will have full use of GFT's venue resources to work on their theatre making, mentoring from the GFT creative staff, receive a stipend, along with a fully supported performance at the theatre.
