 MTV today unveiled the star-studded list of presenters and fan-engaging social media programming leading up to and surrounding the “2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards.” This year's presenters include Aubrey Plaza, Daniel Levy, Dave Bautista, David Spade, Jameela Jamil, Kiernan Shipka, Kumail Nanjiani, Maude Apatow, Mj Rodriguez, Shameik Moore, Storm Reid, and more. Fans will have the opportunity to follow along at home by joining the “2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards” red carpet livestream and the “MTV Movie & TV Awards” Game Night co-viewing livestream.

Comedy Central today announced that David Spade's new late-night series, Lights Out with David Spade, premieres Monday, July 29 at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Comedy Central, the #1 brand in comedy, today announced that its new scripted series South Side will premiere Wednesday, July 24 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. Watch a new trailer from the comedy series here. South Side is written by and stars Bashir Salahuddin (Glow) and Diallo Riddle (Marlon). Salahuddin, Riddle, and Michael Blieden - all Late Night with Jimmy Fallon alumni - are executive producers.

Gloucester Stage Artistic Director Robert Walsh and Interim Managing Director Chris Griffith recently announced that the non-profit theater's 40th anniversary season will include regional premiere of The Lifespan of a Fact from August 30 through September 22.  Gloucester Stage will be the first theater in the country to produce the critically-acclaimed The Lifespan of a Fact since the play's SRO smash hit world premiere Broadway run featuring Daniel Radcliffe, Cherry Jones, and Bobby Cannavale closed in January 2019.

Showtime Documentary Films today announced a four-part documentary series that will chronicle the history of the iconic L.A. club The Comedy Store, directed and executive produced by Mike Binder (Black or White) and executive produced by Oscar®nominee and Emmy® winner Mike Tollin (THE FRANCHISE). The project is expected to premiere on SHOWTIME in 2020.
