EastLine Theatre Brings Pulitzer Winner THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK To Lindenhurst

EastLine Theatre will open their season this February at the BACCA Center in Lindenhurst with The Diary of Anne Frank. Based on the remarkable true story and the beloved bestseller The Diary of a Young Girl, The Diary of Anne Frank was the 1956 winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

EastLine Theatre will celebrate its 10th anniversary this month with a two-part production of Tony Kushner's acclaimed theatrical epic 'Angels in America.' The non-profit theatre group has established itself as an impressive presence in the community with intimate productions amplified by the skill and imagination its production teams over the years. Their tagline - 'little but fierce' - is well-earned 10 years after its inception in a tiny storefront blackbox in Wantagh. Now, they are partnering with the Babylon Citizens Council of the Arts to stage the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play celebrated as 'a turning point in the history of gay drama, the history of American drama, and of American literary culture.'

EastLine Theatre Brings World Premiere Play AN ORESTEIA, OR WHAT WE HAVE SEEN to Babylon's Old Town Hall

EastLine Theatre in association with the Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts will present David Bullen's new play based on Greek tragedy, An Oresteia, or What We Have Seen, this November. Commissioned in response to current events, An Oresteia tells the ancient story of the fall of the house of Atreus beginning with the murder of Agamemnon and detailing its repercussions through the generations.

EastLine Theatre Partners with Planting Fields Arboretum To Perform THE TRUTH

EastLine Theatre in association with Planting Fields Foundation will present Clyde Fitch's turn of the century comedy of manners, The Truth, this August. Commissioned as a companion to the Everett Shinn: Operatics exhibition currently on view through November at Planting Fields, Fitch's 1906 play, The Truth, tells a classic screwball tale of a woman who just cannot stop lying.
