Joe’s Pub is launching its first capsule collection with House of Larréon by fine artist, designer, performer, author, and Joe’s Pub Working Group alumni, Larry Krone. Inspired by a combined desire to support local artists, every purchase from this collection will benefit the hundreds of artists who perform at Joe’s Pub every year.

 The New York Choral Society, New York’s pioneering symphonic chorus that explores unique collaboration and dynamic repertory, announced earlier today the addition of Mercedes Ellington to the cast of Duke Ellington’s Sacred Concerts, November 18 and 19 at the Tishman Auditorium at The New School.

Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV) has announced additional line-up for the BETTER DAYS: Fundraising Cocktail Party and Award Ceremony on October 24, 2022 at 7:00pm in the heart of Times Square. BIV will be honoring with special awards Tony Award winner André De Shields (Death of a Salesman, Becoming Lincoln, Hadestown), Tony Award winner LaChanze (The Color Purple, Producer:TopDog/Underdog, Kimberly Akimbo), and three-time Tony Award winner Alex Lacamoire (VIVO, Dear Evan Hansen, Hamilton) for being true agents of INSPIRATION using the arts as a conduit for social change.

Joe's Pub will present the first installment of a new collaboration between South African vocalist Vuyo Sotashe and North American jazz pianist/composer Chris Pattishall on Thursday, October 20.

 Broadway Black presents The 2nd Annual Antonyo Awards, which honors Black theatre artists during the 2021-2022 season. The live, in-person ceremony will be held on Monday, October 10 at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem (253 West 125th Street). Awards in 29 competitive categories and five honorary categories will be presented along with performances and guest appearances. 

Joe's Pub will present the U.S. debut of MASHUP ting!, an island-kissed circus cabaret directed and performed by Liza Paul and Bahia Watson, on September 15-17.

Joe's Pub announces additional Joe's Pub @ Astor programming on August 12 with DakhaBrakha and, Astor Alive! with DANCE NOW on September 17 – free and open to the public.

Joe’s Pub has announced fall programming. This season presents incredible performances from Latine artists: Afro-Cuban jazz grooves from Dayramir González, an evening of Latin alternative music with Jessica Medina & Mai-Elka Prado, and more.

Bryant Park Picnic Performances presented by Bank of America will continue on August 26 with a summer pop-up edition of Habibi Festival, a new NYC celebration of contemporary and traditional musics of the SWANA (South West Asian and North African) region at Bryant Park.

The Public Theater celebrated opening night of Free Shakespeare in the Park production of RICHARD III at The Delacorte Theater in Central Park. The shows marks Robert O'Hara's Free Shakespeare in the Park debut and welcomes Danai Gurira back to The Delacorte after 11 years in the title role. Read all of the reviews for Richard III here.
