Today we rewind to 2019 for Manhattan Concert Productions' presentation of The Scarlet Pimpernel. Directed by Gabriel Barre, it starred Tony Yazbeck, Laura Osnes, Corey Cott, Norm Lewis, Dana Costello, Drew Gehling and more.

Frank Wildhorn and more than sixty members of the Wildhorn Musical family simultaneously world premiered a video featuring 53 singers from 12 countries, representing 17 of his musicals, performing the powerful, “Finding Wonderland,” from the Broadway musical, Wonderland on Friday, July 10th at 9am ET.

Lone Star Theatre Co announces that Broadway's Brandon Ellis (Bandstand), Dana Costello (Finding Neverland), and Charles Barksdale (Sister Act) will be joining the roster as headliners for the Spooky-Ooky Autumn Concert-Palooza and Costume Party on Monday October 21st at the West End Lounge.

Though the 1976 musical SO LONG, 174th STREET didn't even last a fortnight on Broadway, it wouldn't be surprising to see the York Theater Company's completely delightful revised version, ENTER LAUGHING, THE MUSICAL, return the Joseph Stein/Stan Daniels effort to the main stem someday, especially if director/adaptor Stuart Ross' slam-bang mounting keeps getting a little snazzier and a little funnier every time they bring it back.

The York Theatre Company has announced the cast and creative team for the return engagement of the hit Off-Broadway musical Enter Laughing: The Musical with book by Joseph Stein and music and lyrics by Stan Daniels, based on the play Enter Laughing by Joseph Stein from the novel by Carl Reiner. 

Tony winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies, The Cher Show, My Fair Lady, SpongeBob) will direct an invite-only, developmental reading of the new musical, The Song of Bernadette, March 14th & 15th, starring Dear Evan Hansen's Mallory Bechtel as Bernadette, alongside Tony Winner Alice Ripley (Next to Normal, Side Show, American Psycho), Derek Klena (Carrie, Dogfight, Anastasia) and Drew Gehling (Waitress, Dave).

Just last night, Manhattan Concert Productions presented a concert performance of Frank Wildhorn and Nan Knighton's musical comedy The Scarlet Pimpernel at David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center. Gabriel Barre (Stage Director) and Jason Howland (Music Director) reunited to lead the cast and creative team. The performance also featured a chorus of over 200 singers from the across the United States, a professional cast and creative team, and the New York City Chamber Orchestra.
