Nominations for the 2022 Tony Awards were announced this morning, and while a select, talented few will spend the day celebrating their achievements, there are many who (while still great!), didn't get a nomination this year. Check out who else was eligible below. The Tony Awards Administration Committee has been meeting all year to discuss the eligibility of the 2021-22 Broadway productions all leading up to Monday's big announcement... the Tony nominations. Apart from these specific decisions, all other eligibility rulings were consistent with opening night billing.

Following its Broadway breakout in 2021, Chicken & Biscuits is now part of the Broadway Licensing collection for professional and amateur theaters. The original production premiered at the Queens Theatre in the Park in February 2020 before transferring to Broadway’s Circle in the Square Theater in the fall of 2021.

 The Tony Awards Administration Committee met yesterday to confirm the eligibility status of 12 Broadway productions for the 2021-2022 season.  This was the first time the Tony Awards Administration Committee met to decide the eligibility for the 75th Annual Tony Awards. The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

Producers of the Broadway play Chicken & Biscuits announced that the production will resume performances on Friday, November 19, 2021, before playing a final performance of its limited engagement at Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street) on Sunday, November 28, 2021.

The new Broadway comedy that audiences are eating up, Douglas Lyons’ CHICKEN & BISCUITS, has announced that global superstars and entrepreneurs Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas have joined the producing team of the show, which is currently in previews at Circle in the Square Theatre.

Broadway's Calling with Lance Roberts is back for Season 2! The episode honors Dr. Martin Luther King with a virtual Broadway Brotherhood Buffet. Broadway stars will gather on the show and share the dishes from their heritage or from where they grew up.
