SHOWTIME has released the first five minutes of upcoming drama series THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH, following its SXSW® world premiere today. The new series stars Oscar nominees Chiwetel Ejiofor and Naomie Harris, along with Jimmi Simpson, Rob Delaney, Sonya Cassidy, Joana Ribeiro, Annelle Olaleye, Kate Mulgrew, Clarke Peters and Bill Nighy.

Inspired by the Walter Tevis novel of the same name and the iconic David Bowie film, THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH series stars Oscar nominees Chiwetel Ejiofor and Naomie Harris, along with Jimmi Simpson, Rob Delaney, Sonya Cassidy, Joana Ribeiro, Annelle Olaleye, Kate Mulgrew, Clarke Peters and Bill Nighy.

By popular demand an extra date has been added to the run of Whodunnit [Unrehearsed] 2 at Park Theatre. A 3pm matinee on Tuesday 8th March was put on sale this morning and is the only date now available in the otherwise sold out run (except for £10 day seats released at 10am on show days).

Nighy will reunite with stars Oscar and Emmy® nominee and BAFTA Award winner Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave) and Oscar, BAFTA® and Screen Actors Guild® Award nominee Naomie Harris (Moonlight), both of whom he worked with on previous projects. The series also stars Jimmi Simpson, Rob Delaney, Sonya Cassidy, Joana Ribeiro, and Kate Mulgrew.

FIVE GUYS NAMED MOE, written by Clarke Peters, with music and lyrics by Louis Jordan, will runs at Playhouse on Park from now until February 27, 2022. The show is directed and choreographed by Brittney Griffin. The associate choreographer is Darius Barnes, and the show features music direction by Dexter Pettaway.

Park Theatre has today announced the full line up of almost 40 celebrities who will take to the Park200 stage this February and March – completely unrehearsed – to play the Inspector in a farcical whodunnit.

Sky Arts will broadcast a new documentary Cameron Mackintosh - The First 50 Years on Monday 27 December 2021 at 7pm, a two-hour programme featuring Mackintosh’s life as a producer told through his own eyes and those of his friends and colleagues including his most famous writer collaborators.

Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International announced the total revenue collectively raised by theatres across the globe from MTI’s All Together Now! - A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre. 

In addition to Tucci and Peters, the six-part limited series boasts a stellar international cast including Spanish actors Álvaro Mel and Ana Polvorosa, and British actress T’Nia Miller. The cast is rounded out by Karra Elejalde, Manolo Solo, Alfonso Lara, Blanca Portillo, Pedro Casablanc, among others.

The BAFTA Student Film Award for Animation was awarded to Hugo Caby, Antoine Dupriez, Aubin Kubiak, Lucas Lermytte and Zoé Devise from Pôle 3D, France for “Migrants.”

PRIVATE REELS: FROM THE LCT ARCHIVES, streamed recordings of LCT productions in their entirety, will continue on Thursday, April 22 at 7pm with Lincoln Center Theater’s 2016 production of Marco Ramirez’s THE ROYALE, directed by Rachel Chavkin.

In the series, Peters will play Josiah Falls, patriarch of the Falls family, father of Justin Falls (Harris) and a gifted scientist and engineer whose surprising relationship with Ejiofor’s alien brings about the next step in human evolution.
