Meet The Cast of MCP's JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT!

As BroadwayWorld previously announced, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's classic musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is returning to New York in a special concert presentation from Manhattan Concert Productions on February 17th at Lincoln Center's David Geffen Hall! In celebration of the highly-anticipated production, we're giving you a guide to the star-studded cast, including Noah Galvin, Alex Newell, Jessica Vosk, Andy Karl, and so many more!

The complete cast has been announced for Manhattan Concert Productions' 50th Anniversary Celebration of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center on February 17, 2020 at 8:00 pm. They join Michael Arden (Stage Director) and Stephen Oremus (Music Director) in leading this one-night-only performance, featuring a chorus of over 300 singers from across the United States, professional cast and creative team, and the New York City Chamber Orchestra.

MasterVoices Begins 2019-2020 Season with Concert Staging of The Gershwins' LET 'EM EAT CAKE at Carnegie Hall

MasterVoices begins its 2019-20 season on Thursday, November 21 at Carnegie Hall with the concert staging of George and Ira Gershwins' 1933 musical Let 'Em Eat Cake, with a book by George S. Kaufman and Morrie Ryskind, a comic satire about a populist U.S. President who is voted out of office and stages a coup to regain power. Artistic Director Ted Sperling will direct and conduct MasterVoices, soloists, and Orchestra of St. Luke's in this timely musical which has not been heard in New York since 1987. BROADWAY UNPLUGGED Returns for 19th Edition at Merkin Concert Hall

Monday, November 18th will be the 18th Annual Broadway Unplugged concert, the critically acclaimed vehicle by which some of the greatest voices in the American Musical Theater have shined in the past -- Sutton Foster, Chuck Cooper. Stephanie J. Block, Michael Cerveris, Emily Skinner, Alice Ripley, Marc Kudisch, and many others have performed in this much-beloved concert series.

MasterVoices Announces 2019-20 Season

Ted Sperling, Artistic Director of MasterVoices, announced details of the acclaimed ensemble's 78th season, celebrating the joy of choral singing and the power of the human voice to unite, inspire and connect since 1941. Highlights include three major musical presentations at top venues, including a New York premiere, and the World Premiere of a new work, commissioned by the Company. Throughout the season there will be collaborations with leading singers, artists, ensembles and organizations, some who are familiar with and others who are new to the Company.

BWW Review: Stephen Sondheim/John Weidman's ROAD SHOW Explores Reinvention and Resiliency

When he passed on at age 60 in 1933, Addison Mizner was best known as the architect whose Spanish Colonial and Mediterranean style helped define the emerging visual culture of South Florida. When his younger brother Wilson Mizner died two months later, he was best known as a raconteur whose name could occasionally be found among the writing credits of a Broadway play or Hollywood feature.

Review Roundup: ROAD SHOW at Encores! Off-Center

Directed and choreographed by Will Davis, with music direction by James Moore, Road Show tells the somewhat true story of the Mizner brothers who inherit a small fortune at the turn of the 20th Century and set out to grab their piece of the American Dream in a country where anything seems possible. The production will star Chuck Cooper (Papa Mizner), Raúl Esparza (Wilson Mizner), Jin Ha (Hollis Bessemer), Mary Beth Peil (Mama Mizner), and Brandon Uranowitz (Addison Mizner).

Wrapping up the Encores! Off-Center season is Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's Road Show, running July 24-27. Following the matinee on Saturday, July 27, a??a??a??a??a??a??a??Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman will join Encores! Off-Center Artistic Director Anne Kauffman and Director Will Davis to discuss the making of this production.
