Primary Stages (Casey Childs, Founder & Executive Producer; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director; Elliot Fox, Managing Director,) Fran Kirmser, and Tony Ponturo present the World Premiere of Bronx Bombers, conceived by Fran Kirmser, written and directed by Eric Simonson(Broadway's Lombardi). The production features Francois Battiste (Broadway's Magic/ Bird), Chris Henry Coffey (Off-Broadway's Water by the Spoonful), Bill Dawes (Broadway's Lombardi), Christopher Jackson (Broadway's In the Heights, Memphis), Keith Nobbs (Broadway'sLombardi), Joe Pantoliano (Emmy Award winner from HBO's 'The Sopranos') and John Wernke (Broadway's The Lyons). Bronx Bombers runs September 17- October 19 at Primary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street.

Tony Award winner Gabriel Ebert visited students at Broadway Artists Alliance Alumni Session to share his journey from young actor to Tony Award Winner. Earlier this year, Ebert won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Mr. Wormwood in Matilda the Musical. Scroll down for photos from the event!

A Simple Theatre Company, St. Petersburg's newest professional theatre, has announced the opening of Dorothy Fortenberry's play, Good Egg, tonight, July 11, 2013. The show will run Thursdays-Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm, July 11-28 in the Bininger Theatre on the Eckerd College campus. This will be the first play produced by A Simple Theater in their new home on the Eckerd College campus.

The Pop Show, a new concert series celebrating the nexus of Broadway and pop culture, will kick off on Monday, May 27, 2013 with a 7pm concert of songs from the Elton John catalog. A new concert with a different musical theme will be presented each month as part of the Broadway at Birdland series at Birdland Jazz Club.
