The first Broadway revival of August Wilson's The Piano Lesson begins previews tonight, September 19, at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre for its 17-week engagement.  Meet the cast bringing this play back to Broadway!

The Michael Grandage Company announced that their production of Orlando opens at the Garrick Theatre on 5 December 2022, with previews from 25 November, and runs until 25 February 2023. 

The complete cast and creative team have been announced for the first Broadway revival of August Wilson's The Piano Lesson at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Joining the cast are Nadia Daniel and Jurnee Elizabeth Swan. Rounding out the company are Shirine Babb, Charles Browning, Peter Jay Fernandez, Sharina Martin, Warner Miller, Doron JePaul Mitchell and Kim Sullivan.

The Michael Grandage Company has announced that Emma Corrin will return to the London stage as the title role in Orlando, from the novel by Virginia Woolf in a new version by Neil Bartlett. Michael Grandage directs, reuniting him with Corrin, following their recent collaboration on the feature film My Policeman for Amazon.

The film also stars Halston Sage (“Paper Towns,” “Neighbors,” “Before I Fall,” “X-Men: Dark Phoenix,” “The Last Summer”), Andrew Richardson (“The Independent,” “Killer Among Us,” “A Call to Spy”) and Emmy Award nominee Aidan Quinn (“Practical Magic,”  “Legends of the Fall,” “Elementary,” “Law& Order: SVU,” “The American Guest”).

Featuring a Golden Globe-nominated performance by Chiwetel Ejiofor (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness), as well as terrific performances by Joel Edgerton (The Green Knight), Sarah-Jane Potts (The Chameleon), and Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead), KINKY BOOTS is a refreshing, feel-good film that proves the best way to fit in is to stand out.

Northern Stage will produce a magical new adaptation of family favourite The Sorcerer's Apprentice this Christmas (27 November - 31 December). Emilia Clarke and Chiwetel Ejiofor have been announced as part of the cast of The Pod Generation, a new sci-fi romance film directed by Sophie Barthes. In the film, a couple has a chance to use a new tool developed by a tech giant, Pegasus, to share pregnancy on a more equal plane with detachable artificial wombs, in the form of a pod.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has announced further details for this year’s EE British Academy Film Awards Weekend taking place across 10 and 11 April at the Royal Albert Hall including awards presenters confirmed to take part, musical performances and special appearances across both nights by BAFTA President, HRH The Duke of Cambridge.

In the series, Peters will play Josiah Falls, patriarch of the Falls family, father of Justin Falls (Harris) and a gifted scientist and engineer whose surprising relationship with Ejiofor’s alien brings about the next step in human evolution.

Based on the Walter Tevis novel of the same name and the iconic film that starred David Bowie, THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH will follow a new alien character (Ejiofor) who arrives on Earth at a turning point in human evolution and must confront his own past to determine our future.
