Mark Shunock loves Las Vegas and started Mondays Dark to give back to his community. While there are performances every other Monday, the public is invited to attend the 10th anniversary show at the Palms Casino Resort on Dec. 11.

Celebrating 10 amazing years of giving back and over $1.8 million raised for the Vegas community, Mondays Dark is throwing a year-end, anniversary spectacular. The popular grassroots charitable movement raises much-needed funding for Las Vegas’ local nonprofit organizations.

Marshun Entertainment is launching the Beyond the Songbook Series, on Monday, April 24, at The Space, Las Vegas, with a tribute to Henry Krieger, the composer of three Broadway musicals, Dreamgirls, The Tap Dance Kid, and Side Show.

In the world premiere of an original play commissioned by The Umbrella Stage Company, Hortense Gerardo's Middleton Heights unravels a wry, charming and honest tale that follows Meena and her Filipino family as they assimilate to life in a fictional Midwestern suburb of Cleveland, Ohio.

Actor/ producer/ director/ singer/ performer Marisa Matthews will be inaugurating her monthly musical cabaret BROADWAY AT THE BOURBON ROOM February 21, 2022, at The Bourbon Room. Each cabaret (populated with Broadway’s latest talents) will have different themes, with opening night Give My Regards to Broadway. I had the chance to ask a few queries of Marisa on some of her history leading up to this show.

A who's-who of entertainers and personalities will join Mark Shunock, star of 'Rock of Ages' at The Venetian Las Vegas and creator/producer of Mondays Dark, for the Mondays Dark two-year anniversary celebration taking place on Monday, Dec. 14 (doors 7 p.m., show 8 p.m.) at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

'Rock of Ages' star Mark Shunock's March edition of 'Mondays Dark' took place on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 8:30 p.m. at Body English Nightclub inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Following the success of last month's tribute to the rock band QUEEN, 100 percent of the ticket proceeds from this week's show benefits the Shine Family Foundation and featured the music of 'The '80s - Unplugged.' Special guests included, the 'Rock of Ages' band Arsenal, Chris Phillips and Lydia Ansel of Zowie Bowie, James Mulligan, Tina Dawn from 'Absinthe,' Elise Furr from 'Jubilee,' illusionist Mark Bennick, Anne Martinez and Savannah Smith of BBR, Geechy Guy from 'America's Got Talent,' and Becca Kotte and Jason Oles from 'Rock Of Ages.' Other red carpet Vegas headliners in attendance included hypnotist Anthony Cools and celebrity magician, Murray Sawchuck, both of whom have performed at previous Mondays Dark events. BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Gannon O'Brien has officially taken over for Jason Michael Evans as 'Chris' in Signature Theatre's MISS SAIGON. O'Brien, an understudy for the part, has been performing the role since tech week because of Evans' 'vocal issues.'
