It has been announced that musical theatre star and television presenter Brenda Edwards (Chicago, We Will Rock You, The X Factor, Loose Women and Songs of Praise) will star as Motormouth Maybelle in the UK and Ireland tour of Hairspray.  Comedy legend Norman Pace (ITV's The Hale and Pace Show) will play Wilbur Turnblad alongside West End leading man Alex Bourne (Annie, Mamma Mia!, We Will Rock You) as Edna Turnblad.

Marth Brown and Patricia Lawrence lead the cast as Polly and Amelia Dyer. The show is written by Rachel Leighson, directed by Josie McAdam, and produced by Ian McQueen. Get your first look at the cast in costume!

The opera and choreographic creations of the 2021-2022 season will be the subject of a very comprehensive conference on the work, its libretto, context and music, a few days before the first performance, always at the same time, 6.30 pm, by the Association genevoise des amis de l’opéra et du ballet.

Curve theatre in Leicester has today revealed the full cast of its Christmas musical A Chorus Line, including world famous dancer Adam Cooper and West End and Curve favourite Carly Mercedes Dyer.

With Fabi Bang spearheading the new cast, Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella has original direction and a Brazilian version by Charles Moeller and Claudio Botelho, with Vanessa Costa signing the direction of the revival. The show returns in a big way, bringing names like Andre Loddi (Prince Topher), Gottsha (Stepmother), Helga Nemetik (Fairy Godmother), Diego Montez (Jean Michel), in a cast of 22 actors. The production is by Touche Entertainment.

An exclusive, free-to-attend rehearsed reading of new play, 'One Night with Marilyn' by PT Rose on 26th September 2021 is taking place at The Drayton Arms Theatre, London from 2:30 pm.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre's Mainstage raises the curtain on it's 24th Season with the side-splitting satire The Revolutionists by Lauren Gunderson. Associate Artist Director Gené Fouché directs MET's first production for an in-person audience in their Mainstage space since March 2020.
