Trek through the journey of an idea! Stages Theatre Company is set to present a world premiere musical, What Do You Do With An Idea? based on an award-winning book that comes to life on stage this spring! Follow the journey of a young child with the question; 'What DO you do with an idea?' First, they ignore it, but when it won't go away, they nurture it and watch it grow. One day the answer becomes abundantly clear. What Do You Do With An Idea? runs from April 8 - May 8, 2022. The show is appropriate for all ages and is based on the book by Kobi Yamada with illustrations by Mae Besom. The musical features a script by Cristina Pippa, Music & Lyrics by Sharon Kenny, and is Directed by Melanie Salmon-Peterson.

The Charlotte Symphony (CSO) presents Sounds of Joy!, a benefit concert with the incomparable Blood Sweat & Tears. This will mark the first appearance of Blood Sweat & Tears in the Charlotte area in more than 25 years.

TheaterWorks Hartford presents international drag superstar and unlicensed health care provider Varla Jean Merman in her hit comedy cabaret Little Prick. This gut-busting show, co-written by Hartford-area playwright Jacques Lamarre, will offer a double-dose of fun for two performances on Saturday, June 11 at 6:30pm and 9pm. Varla will be setting up her special 'entertainment clinic' at TheaterWorks at 233 Pearl Street in downtown Hartford.

Boston Calling, the acclaimed three-day festival making its triumphant return to Allston, MA this Memorial Day Weekend, May 27 - 29, 2022, announced today the addition of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees and GRAMMY Award winners Nine Inch Nails as a headliner of the 2022 festival. Making their return to the road for the first time in four years, Nine Inch Nails will close out the first night of the festival on Friday, May 27th. As previously announced, the festival will be headlined on Saturday, May 28th and Sunday, May 29th by alternative rockers, The Strokes, and rock & roll icons, Metallica, respectively.

A new trailer has been released for LUX ÆTERNA, Gaspar Noé’s psychedelic freakout film about witches and cinema. The movie stars Charlotte Gainsbourg and Béatrice Dalle. It is set to open in New York on May 6 at Metrograph and in Los Angeles on May 13. A national rollout of the film will follow.
