World Stage Theatre Company's Fourth Season concludes with The Revolutionists by Lauren Gunderson. Directed by Zero Steiert, The Revolutionists stars Jameelah Stuckey as Marianne Angelle, Amanda Nichols as Marie Antionette, Megan Mulgrew as Charlotte Corday, Kelly McEver as Olympe De Gouges, and Kim Lee as Understudy for Marie Antoinette.

Hampstead Theatre has announced the full cast and creative team for the world premiere of Satinder Chohan’s new play, Lotus Beauty.  Directed by Pooja Ghai, Lotus Beauty will run at Hampstead Downstairs, in association with Tamasha Theatre Company, from 13 May until 18 June 2022.

Remy Bumppo Theatre Company has announced the casting and design team for the final show in its 2022 Season, THE YEAR OF MAGICAL THINKING by Joan Didion and directed by Gabrielle Randle-Bent. The show will run from April 27 through June 5, 2022 at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Avenue in Chicago.

Parthenia, New York's premiere viol consort, will present A Reliquary for William Blake, a concert on Friday, May 6 @ 7:30 PM at The Church of St. Luke in the Fields, 487 Hudson Street in Manhattan and online. The program, the third of Parthenia's 2021-22 NYC Concert Series, will also be webcast. Performers will be Parthenia Viol Consort with Cody Bowers, countertenor.

The 2022 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize has been awarded to U.K. playwright Benedict Lombe for her debut play Lava. In a special presentation at Shakespeare's Globe in London, the Blackburn Prize judges presented Lombe with a cash prize of $25,000, and a signed limited-edition print by renowned artist Willem de Kooning, created especially for the Prize. 

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) Theatre Company has announced dramaturg, producer, and playwright Reginald Edmund is joining the DCPA Artistic Team as the Literary Manager.

Makasha Copeland has won the American Theatre Critics Association’s (ATCA) 2022 M. Elizabeth Osborn Award for their play “Extreme Home Makeover.”

A new adaptation of Charlotte Brontë’s classic novel Jane Eyre has opened at Scarborough’s Stephen Joseph Theatre. The show, a co-production with the New Vic, Newcastle-under-Lyme, can be seen at the SJT throughout April, and at the New Vic in May and we've got the first photos.

Last night, Jack White kicked off The Supply Chain Issues Tour with a special FEAR OF THE DAWN album release show at Detroit’s Masonic Temple Theatre, his first headline show in four years. The performance included a surprise proposal during his performance of “Hotel Yorba” followed by an on stage marriage ceremony to Olivia Jean, with Third Man’s Ben Swank serving as officiant. White’s mother, Jean’s father, their family and close friends were in attendance.
