Red Bull Theater today announced the cast for the one-night-only, all-star benefit concert performance of the Olivier Award-winning Best Musical Return to Forbidden Planet, a musical of Shakespearean proportions by Bob Carlton. The 2019-'20 Season kick-off event will take place Monday October 21st at the Peter Norton Symphony Space (2537 Broadway at 95th Street).

Five actors who play the same role in the Broadway musical Come From Away and the man they portray, Kevin Tuerff, are promoting the 18th Annual Pay it Forward 9/11, founded by Tuerff.

Variety reports that the Tony-winning team behind 'Come From Away' will develop a new CW drama with comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: 'How to Get Run Over by a Truck,' based on a memoir by Katie McKenna.

For the first time ever, five actors who portray the same role in a Broadway musical will gather in a virtual online conference room to share stories with the man they portray (Kevin Tuerff), and answer questions from fans.

Designed as a program of song, dance and story to celebrate the spirit of the new theater season, BROADWAY BLESSING was founded by Retta Blaney and started in 1997.

A limited edition two LP yellow vinyl set of the original Broadway cast recording of COME FROM AWAY will be released on Friday, May 31. The vinyl will be available exclusively online and in store at Barnes and Noble. The vinyl lacquers were cut by Clint Holley at Well Made Music and the records were pressed at Memphis Record Pressing. David Lai, Ian Eisendrath, August Eriksmoen, Irene Sankoff and David Hein serve as album producers.

Red Bull Theater presents Mac Beth, the second of its two Off-Broadway productions at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street between Bleecker & Hudson Streets).
