The opening program focuses on composers whom Mahler had championed during his years in New York.

The Lucille Lortel Awards, the preeminent honor presented exclusively to recognize Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway, today announced that the awards for acting will no longer be defined by gender. The 37th Annual Lortel Awards will take place Sunday, May 1, 2022, at 7:00PM.

Mixing It Up Productions has announced the winners of its Spring 2021 Full Length Playwriting Contest.

This fall, the South Orange Performing Arts Center fully reopens. SOPAC's 2021-2022 season is its most diverse and inclusive yet, featuring musicians from various backgrounds, such as an Israeli superstar, a social justice-focused band, a Ukrainian quartet, various Celtic groups, a hip-hop violinist, a bayou-soul artist, and a chorus of womxn and non-binary singers. 

As live performances return to venues throughout Southern California, Irvine Barclay Theatre has announced nearly 20 shows that it has added to its season, which kicks off on September 19 with the country chart-topping trio The Gatlin Brothers.

Edmund Bagnell, 1st Violinist & vocalist of the internationally acclaimed group Well-Strung, will bring his new solo show Happy Days Are Here Again, directed by and co-written with Michael Schiralli, to the Crown & Anchor’s P-Town lineup for a summer-long run this season from July 6 - August 31.

Grammy-winning vocalist Catherine Russell and stage and screen stars Telly Leung and Solea Pfeiffer will join Michael Feinstein as professional mentors at this year's Songbook Academy summer intensive, the nation's leading youth music program focused on the timeless standards of jazz, pop, Broadway and Hollywood.
