Starring Alex Murphy (Conor in The Young Offenders), Abbey and Druid Theatre regular, Catherine Walsh, Seamus O'Rourke, Fionula Linehan, and Michael Sands and set in the fictional town of Ballybeg, Philadelphia, Here I Come! premiered in 1964 and subsequently transferred to Broadway where it received numerous Tony Award nominations. It is regarded as Friel's first masterpiece. He would go on to write such legendary titles as Translations, Dancing at Lughnasa and Faith Healer.

Lyric Opera of Chicago announced today that registration is now open to secure a free link to screen the film of the critically acclaimed and sold-out presentation of Twilight: Gods ‚ÄĒ a radical reimagining of Wagner's G√∂tterd√§mmerung, directed by Yuval Sharon, that took place at Millennium Lakeside Parking Garage in late April 2021.

The Abbey Theatre, today, announced it will reopen its doors and welcome audiences back to the building for the world premiere of Una McKevitt's One Good Turn. Ireland's national theatre had previously announced that the play will stream live from the Abbey stage on 25th and 26th of June and be available, on-demand, until 10th July.
