I had the privilege of seeing Cassidy Janson perform at London's iconic Coliseum in Man Of La Mancha last year, so to see her return to the stage now, without an audience in light of the pandemic, is tinged with sadness. However, the hour of blissful concert escapism she provides radiates joy as Janson takes us through a series of numbers that have shaped her musical theatre career, as well as songs she loves.

The London Palladium has hosted the world's biggest stars over the course of its history. Today, like all theatres across the UK, it is dark. On Thursday, September 17, Magic Radio will bring together over 70 leading figures from across musical theatre at the venue, united for the first time, to shine a spotlight on theatre at a time when its very existence is under threat.

It's a strange old time right now, with our beloved theatre community mourning the loss of jobs, of creative outlets, and of the human connections that theatre is so brilliant at creating.
