The Boch Center announced today that THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL, the critically acclaimed 2018 Best Musical winner of the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards; RENT 20TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR, back in Boston by popular demand; the holiday tradition RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER: THE MUSICAL; the beloved holiday classic IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS; RIVERDANCE NEW 25TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW; and the Tony Award-winning smash-hit musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET will anchor its upcoming 2019-2020 Broadway and family show lineup at the Wang and Shubert Theatres. Tickets for these shows go on sale to the general public on Sunday, March 3 at 10:00AM.

Million Dollar Quartet opened Sunday, February 17 at Theatre at the Center in Munster. The show stars Zach Sorrow as Elvis Presley, Michael Kurowski as Jerry Lee Lewis, Tommy Malouf as Johnny Cash, Zachary Stevenson as Carl Perkins, Sean Fortunato as record producer Sam Phillips and Aeriel Williams as singer Dyanne.  Directed by Daryl Brooks, Million Dollar Quartet's cast also includes musicians Michael Sinclair as Jay and Nick Anderson as Fluke.  The show continues its extended run through March 31.  This production is sponsored by Pat Binkley.

Happy New Year to the Syracuse area theater community! We have a new year filled a variety of theatrical productions throughout the greater Syracuse area coming up! We are fortunate to live in an area that has so many talented actors, technicians, and directors as well as dedicated theater companies - not to mention supportive theatergoers. From the local theaters to the Equity tours that come through the area, we are lucky that Syracuse offers many opportunities to experience live theater. Having seen countless productions in this area since I was young and reviewed many shows for the past few years, I thought I would take a moment to share which productions I am most excited about in 2019!

The national tour of the Tony Award-winning smash- hit musical Million Dollar Quartet is coming to the Capitol Center for the Arts (Concord, NH) on  Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 7:30PM.  The show is inspired by the famed recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins for the first and only time.

Jerry Lee Lewis, one of the original Million Dollar Quartet along with Elvis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins, is one of the all-time best singer-songwriters, musicians and pianists. A true American stylist, he is an architect of great genres such as rock n' roll and rockabilly as well as a commander of country music and the blues. "The Killer" holds numerous awards including Grammys and the Recording Academy's Lifetime Achievement Award. Don't miss the first great "wildman" of rock as he makes his Sarasota debut on Sunday, January 27 at 7 p.m. - LIVE at the Van Wezel!

Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), the professional North Fulton theatre company, will remount its 2017 smash hit, the Tony Award-winning musical, Million Dollar Quartet, at the Conant Performing Arts Center on the campus of Oglethorpe University. Inspired by the famed recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the first and only time, this production will run December 14, 2018 through January 12, 2019 at a new venue for GET in Brookhaven at Oglethorpe University.

Cortland Repertory Theatre, one of New York State's longest running professional summer theatres, has announced their 48th annual season for the summer of 2019. All six mainstage shows will make their CRT debuts.

Arkansas Repertory Theatre, the state's largest nonprofit professional theatre, is proud to announce its 2019 'Rebuild the Rep' Season. Beginning in February, the new season marks the return of The Rep after productions were suspended in April because of funding shortages.

Multi-platinum entertainer Sara Evans will guest cohost on "The Talk" next week, joining hosts Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, and Eve for the live talk show airing Tuesday, November 13 at 2pm ET / 1pm CT on CBS. The appearance takes place weeks before the return of Evans' popular, limited-engagement "At Christmas Tour," with festive shows created to get fans of all ages into the spirit of the season. The tour kicks off November 24 in Cincinnati, Ohio with special guests Fairground Saints.

Rockabilly music legend, Lee Rocker and his band, will be performing for one night only at Husson University's Gracie Theatre on Saturday, November 10, at 7:30 p.m. This Grammy-nominated member of the legendary music group Stray Cats will perform some of the band's signature hits like 'Sexy and Seventeen', 'Stray Cat Strut' and 'Rock This Town.' Original songs, and hits by Elvis and Carl Perkins will also be included in the concert performance.
