The national tour of the Tony Award-winning smash- hit musical Million Dollar Quartet is coming to the Capitol Center for the Arts (Concord, NH) on  Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 7:30PM.  The show is inspired by the famed recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins for the first and only time.

Jerry Lee Lewis, one of the original Million Dollar Quartet along with Elvis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins, is one of the all-time best singer-songwriters, musicians and pianists. A true American stylist, he is an architect of great genres such as rock n' roll and rockabilly as well as a commander of country music and the blues. "The Killer" holds numerous awards including Grammys and the Recording Academy's Lifetime Achievement Award. There's a whole lot of shakin' goin' on with the smash hit MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, running January 16 through March 10, 2019 with a press opening on January 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire. Inspired by a true story, this rockin' tribute is directed by James Moye, joined by Jeff Award-winning Musical Director Ryan T. Nelson. MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET captures the contagious spirit, freewheeling excitement, and thrilling sounds of the once-in-a-lifetime event where four of music's best talents came together.

Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), the professional North Fulton theatre company, will remount its 2017 smash hit, the Tony Award-winning musical, Million Dollar Quartet, at the Conant Performing Arts Center on the campus of Oglethorpe University. Inspired by the famed recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the first and only time, this production will run December 14, 2018 through January 12, 2019 at a new venue for GET in Brookhaven at Oglethorpe University.

Cortland Repertory Theatre, one of New York State's longest running professional summer theatres, has announced their 48th annual season for the summer of 2019. All six mainstage shows will make their CRT debuts.

Multi-platinum entertainer Sara Evans will guest cohost on "The Talk" next week, joining hosts Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, and Eve for the live talk show airing Tuesday, November 13 at 2pm ET / 1pm CT on CBS. The appearance takes place weeks before the return of Evans' popular, limited-engagement "At Christmas Tour," with festive shows created to get fans of all ages into the spirit of the season. The tour kicks off November 24 in Cincinnati, Ohio with special guests Fairground Saints.

Rockabilly music legend, Lee Rocker and his band, will be performing for one night only at Husson University's Gracie Theatre on Saturday, November 10, at 7:30 p.m. This Grammy-nominated member of the legendary music group Stray Cats will perform some of the band's signature hits like 'Sexy and Seventeen', 'Stray Cat Strut' and 'Rock This Town.' Original songs, and hits by Elvis and Carl Perkins will also be included in the concert performance.

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park will celebrate the local voices, stories and talents that cemented Cincinnati in music history in CINCINNATI KING, a new world premiere musical that begins Nov. 3 (Opening night is Nov. 8.) It runs through Dec. 23 and is staged with support from The Rosenthal Family Foundation, Season Sponsor of New Work.

On December 4, 1956, an auspicious twist of fate brought together Johnny Cash (Peter Oyloe), Jerry Lee Lewis (Taylor Gray), Carl Perkins (Austin Hohnke) and Elvis Presley (Daniel Durston). Sam Phillips (Andy Ingalls), the undisputed "Father of Rock 'n' Roll" gathered these four legends for the first and only time at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest rock 'n' roll jam sessions ever.

Bucks County Playhouse's acclaimed production of "Million Dollar Quartet" has surpassed expectations and broken the Playhouse's box office record - becoming the theater's most attended and top grossing production. Playing off the theme of this rock n' roll musical, cast members Sky Seals (who plays Johnny Cash), Ari McKay Wilford (who plays Elvis Presley) and Ryah Nixon will perform. Cast members will join the Playhouse's Producing Director Tony Award-winning Alexander Fraser and staff to "SMASH records."

American Blues Theater announces encore performance run of BUDDY - The Buddy Holly Story, written by Alan Janes, directed by Lili-Anne Brown, with musical direction by Ensemble Member Michael Mahler. BUDDY - The Buddy Holly Story will close as planned on May 26, 2018 and reopen June 29 - September 15, 2018 at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago. Tickets will be on sale for the encore run on May 15, 2018.

The Marriott Theatre, Chicagoland's longest-running professional musical theater, announces its 2019 Season!  The award-winning theatre will present both productions of classic Broadway hits, as well as new musicals in 2019. 

With demand for tickets as hot as the current heatwave, Bucks County Playhouse's team announced today a two-week extension of its hit production of the Tony-award winning musical, "Million Dollar Quartet." The show, originally scheduled to close on Saturday, September 15, will now close Saturday, September 29.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET is a jukebox musical that uses the recording of an impromptu jam session that involed Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Johnny Cash as its basis. The recording was discovered in the vaults at the Sun Record Studios in Memphis, Tennessee in 1981. The recording itself was made on December 4, 1956. This session is considered a seminal moment in rock and roll. The musical opened on Broadway in 2010, after several tryouts and regional productions, and spawned a 2011 West End production. It uses 23 songs,not all of which are from the Sun Records catalog.
