LISA HOWARD (It Should Have Been You), MARGO SEIBERT (Rocky) and HUNTER RYAN HERDLICKA (Once Upon a Mattress) have joined the starry line-up of talent for BROADWAY BELTS FOR PFF! -- the sixth annual concert, featuring Broadway stars in an evening of music and comedy that benefits the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, it has been announced by the event organizers. 

On Monday, February 8th, the Theater People podcast welcomes stage and television star Megan Hilty. Shemade her Broadway debut in 2004 as the Glinda stanby in the Broadway production of WICKED, before she eventually took over the role full time. She also played the role on the First National Tour before creating the role for the Los Angeles sit down production.

Nominees for the 7th Annual Indie Series Awards (ISA7) were announced this afternoon in a special episode of Serial Scoop Now. On Monday, February 1st, Theater People Podcast welcomes SCHOOL OF ROCK star Alex Brightman. Before being cast in the leading role in the new Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, Brightman made his Broadway debut as an understudy in GLORY DAYS (the show that infamously closed on its opening night). He went on to replace in the role of  Boq in the Broadway company of WICKED, Michael Wormwood in the Broadway company of MATILDA, and then joined the original Broadway company of BIG FISH.

?Ocean State Theatre Company's Producing Artistic Director, Amiee Turner, who won rave reviews for her portrayal of Mama Rose in last summer's production of Gypsy, will take the stage in her very own concert, "Once in Love, with Amiee: Puppy Love, Heartbreak and Ever After," on Sunday, February 14 at 7:30 pm.

Daveed Diggs - one of the breakout stars of the Broadway musical HAMILTON - has joined the line-up for BROADWAY BELTS FOR PFF! - the sixth annual concert, featuring Broadway stars in an evening of music and comedy that benefits the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, it has been announced by the event organizers.  BROADWAY BELTS takes a leap this Leap Year and will be presented at a larger venue due to increased demand with more glamour, more songs, more seats (!) on Sadie Hawkins Day, Monday, February 29 at 7 pm at the Edison Ballroom (240 West 47 St.) in New York City.

On Monday, January 18th, The Theater People podcast welcomes Tony-nominated FUN HOME star Beth Malone. Malone made her Broadway debut in the 2006 production of RING OF FIRE, and has found much success working regionally, including a critically acclaimed turn in the title role of THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN.

Broadway superstar Adam Pascal will join Marti Gould Cummings this Monday January 18 for Stage Fright at Therapy Lounge. 

Broadway's Judy Kaye, Cady Huffman, Annaleigh Ashford and Randy Graff are set to perform at a benefit to raise funds for the fight against pulmonary fibrosis.

Alex Newell from FOXs hit series GLEE will appear on stage with NYC drag persona Marti Gould Cummings for STAGE FRIGHT on Monday December 21st at 10pm.

On Tuesday, December 15, the Theater People Podcast welcome's Tony-nominee Norm Lewis, whose career on and off Broadway, in London's West End, and on the international concert circuit, spans nearly 25 years, and counting. He will be making his Feinstein's/54 Below debut with a holiday show running from December 20th to 24th at 9:30pm.

On Monday, November 30, the Theater People podcast welcomes Broadway favorite Elizabeth Stanley. She is currently headlining the first national tour of THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY in the role of Francesca. Stanley made her Broadway debut as April in the 2006 John Doyle helmed production of COMPANY. She went on to originate the role of Allison in CRY BABY, and then Dyanne in MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET. She was most recently seen on Broadway as Claire in last year's Tony-nominated ON THE TOWN.

Both sides of this versatile performer can be seen onstage in his upcoming Act of a Lifetime - Cheaper Than Therapy at Manhattan's premier cabaret club, Don't Tell Mama. Accompanied by music director Christopher Howatt, Al will regale audiences with stories and anecdotes from his career as an actor and performer, drawing on standards from the stage and screen to tell his story.

Ashford, who was Theater People's third ever guest. For this episode, Ashford talks about her Tony Award winning turn in last year's YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU, her critically acclaimed work on the Showtime series MASTERS OF SEX, and working alongside Matthew Broderick and Julie White in the current Broadway revival of SYLVIA.

Just last night, the York Theatre Company honored Broadway and Hollywood legend Angela Lansbury with the 2015 Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre. The evening's entertainment was directed by Kurt Stammc(York's Closer Than Ever; Our Sinatra), with music direction by Andrew Gerle (York's Closer Than Ever).
