Tony Nominations were announced earlier this month Tuesday, providing many shows, particularly new musicals, with a shot in the arm, as many had been previously struggling.

Actors’ Equity Association’s Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA) has announced the nominees for this season’s ACCA Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus, including Cats: The Jellicle Ball, Chess, Ragtime, and Schmigadoon!

Alex Bartlett, who worked on Broadway for over 20 years as a dresser and wardrobe supervisor, has died. He was 51. 

Tilles Center, in collaboration with Jazz at Lincoln Center, will present its third annual Jazz Fest on the LIU Brookville campus, featuring The Buena Vista Orchestra, Bobby Sanabria Octet, and family programming across four stages.
