'Tonight at the London Coliseum' is a week-long series of concerts to be performed on stage at the London Coliseum by some of the UK's most prolific musical theatre stars.

Back in 2019, the former Queen's Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue was temporarily closed down to transform the building into the Sondheim Theatre and give its favourite tenant, Les Misérables, a major revamp.

Dame Vera Lynn and a lineup of West End stars created a touching performance of 'We'll Meet Again' in honor of the theatre industry. The video features socially-distanced West End stars united in reassurance that West End and UK theatres shall once more rise and thrive a?" some sunny day.

Les Misérables -The Staged Concert will be available for digital download in the UK and Australia to raise much needed funds for performers, musicians and the NHS.

Cameron Mackintosh's new version of Les Miserables just opened at the newly renovated Sondheim Theatre in London. Let's see what the critics had to say...

Much of the conversation around the incoming of the revamped Les Misérables production to the West End has revolved around the revolve a?' or lack thereof. But this slicker touring version (first seen in 2009, for the 25th anniversary) is a beautiful fit for Cameron Mackintosh's marvellously refurbished Sondheim Theatre, and the show's indelible score and stirring human drama are, if anything, showcased more strongly than ever.

The newly renovated Sondheim Theatre (formerly the Queen's Theatre) officially re-opened in December 2019. The theatre is home to Les Miserables.

Matt Lucas stepped in to play the role of Thénardier for a few weeks when Gerard Carey was unable to perform before the first preview of the new production of Les Misérables at the Sondheim Theatre last month due to vocal injury caused by contracting pneumonia. Last week Lucas regrettably sustained a back injury which has meant he is unable to continue in the role.

Matt Lucas will step in to play the role of Thénardier in the new production of LES MISERABLES at the newly refurbished Sondheim Theatre in the West End where performances began on Wednesday.
