Michael Anthony Theatrical is back at The Green Room 42, this time, with 'The Movies That Slayed Us.' The evening will feature a collaboration of contemporary pop/rock hits mixed with the most famous horror movies of all time. This production will play a one-night engagement on Saturday, October 22nd at The Green Room 42 at 9:30pm.

Tony Award winning producer Michael A. Jenkins today announced the cast for the special by-invitation-only industry reading for the new musical BELVA - Don’t Give Up Before the Miracle on Friday June 10th at Pearl Studios (500 Eighth Avenue).

Nestled in the gorgeous countryside of Cortland County at Cortland Repertory Theatre's (CRT) summer theatre at picturesque Little York Lake is the breathtaking production of Disney's Newsies under the brilliant direction of Mark Reynolds. The production is exciting, powerful, and just pure magic on stage.

Cortland Repertory Theatre invites audiences to "seize the day" with their next high-energy summer production: the hit stage version of Disney's movie musical "Newsies"! This exciting musical has music written by Alan Menken, lyrics by Jack Feldman and a book by Harvey Fierstein, and is based on the film written by Bob Tzudiker and Noni White.  Performances of CRT's production will be held at the Little York Pavilion in Preble, and run from July 11 - 28 with evening show times at 7:30.  Matinees are available on July 13, 15, 18, 22, and 25 at 2:00 PM.  Tickets may be purchased by calling 800-427-6160 or by visiting the CRT Box Office at 24 Port Watson Street in downtown Cortland. Tickets are also available for sale 24 hours a day through the CRT website at www.cortlandrep.org, using the online service ETix. CRT cautions that this is the only approved online ticket service; other online sites charge significantly higher rates for tickets and are NOT approved by CRT.

Based on the iconic movie, featuring the Grammy Award winning songs by the Bee Gees! Tony Manero is in a dead end job at a Brooklyn paint store, but he comes to life at '2001 Odyssey', the local disco where he is the king of the dance floor!

For the second production in their 47th annual season of professional summer theatre, Cortland Repertory Theatre invites audiences to dust off those leisure suits and platform shoes for the musical stage version of the iconic 1970's Paramount/SRO film Saturday Night Fever. Based on a story by Nik Cohn, the movie was adapted for the stage by Robert Stigwood in collaboration with Bill Oaks, with the North American version written by Sean Cercone and David Abbinati.  The production features the Grammy Award winning songs by the Bee Gees.

The Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation, The Muny, and the Fox Theatre have announced the nominees for the first annual St. Louis High School Musical Theatre Awards to be held on Sunday, May 28 at 7 p.m. at the Fabulous Fox Theatre.

Broadway Sessions returns with cast of ALADDIN on September 4, 2014. Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Cafe located at 407 west 42nd street (corner of 42nd street and 9th avenue). 212-695-6909.
