What did our critic think of MISS HOLMES at David S. & Anne V. Howard Studio Theatre?

Marylebone Theatre has released rehearsal photos for its UK premiere of A Sherlock Carol, written and directed by Mark Shanahan. The production will run at Rudolf Steiner House from 18 November - 17 January.

For its second offering of the season Portland Stage regales its audience with Steven Dietz’s adaptation of William Gillette and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s original play, Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure. The play, a re-imagined period piece, offers a low-key, witty take on the familiar characters and material with enough twists and turns to satisfy Conan Doyle fans.

Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure by Steven Dietz, adapted from the original 1899 play by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and William Gillette, opens at Portland Stage Friday, October 28 at 7:30 pm.

Cheney Hall will be holding auditions for Ken Ludwig's The Hound of The Baskervilles: a Sherlock Holmes Mystery/Comedy, on Monday, November 14th at 7 and Wednesday, November 16th at 7.

Three Christmases since the famous confrontation with his nemesis Moriarty at the Reichenbach Falls, Sherlock Holmes has little appetite for mince pies or for solving crime. Wandering through Victorian London, he meets a grown-up and not-so-Tiny Tim who implores him to investigate the mysterious death of his reformed benefactor, one Ebenezer Scrooge.

Step back in time on Friday and Saturday, October 21 – 22 at 8:00 PM, when the Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company presents Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's 'Sherlock Holmes' Adventure of the Norwood Builder.'
