Feinstein's/54 Below has added shows to #54BelowatHome, a series of streamed performances to provide theater fans everywhere with artistic content from their favorite artists.

The world premiere musical THE VISITOR was originally scheduled to open at The Public Theater tonight, April 15. In honor of Opening Night, The Public has just released a music video of David Hyde Pierce (Walter), Ari'el Stachel (Tarek), and the cast of THE VISITOR performing the song 'Heart In Your Hands.'

The world premiere musical THE VISITOR, is currently in rehearsals! THE VISITOR, features music by Pulitzer Prize winner Tom Kitt, lyrics by Pulitzer Prize winner Brian Yorkey, book by Kwame Kwei-Armah and Brian Yorkey, choreography by Lorin Latarro, and is directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan. Performances begin on Tuesday, March 24 and run through Sunday, May 10.

Noah Galvin will replace Ari'el Stachel, who regrettably had to withdraw due to an unforeseen conflict, as the lead role of a?oeJosepha?? in Manhattan Concert Productions' Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Galvin joins Michael Arden (Stage Director) and Stephen Oremus (Music Director) in leading this 50th Anniversary Celebration of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center on February 17, 2020 at 8:00 pm. The nonprofit Sundance Institute announced today the showcase of new independent feature films selected across all categories for the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. Mahoney replaces Barrett as Martha in Irving Berlin's White Christmas and as the title role in The Drowsy Chaperone.

I really enjoyed the Eran Kolirin's 2007 Israeli-Egyptian film 'The Band's Visit' . The story involved the Alexandria Ceremonial Police Orchestra who get lost in Israel on their way to a concert performance at the Arab Cultural Center in a large city named Petal Tikvah and instead the bus they take arrives at the small town of Bet Hatikva. With the next bus not due until the next day, the musicians are invited to spend the night with the town natives (there is no hotel) and have dinner. The moving film tackles the subject of Egyptians and Israelis in 1996 who in 1967 had a hard-fought war on the Sinai Peninsula.
