Alt-Pop trio Concrete Castles have announced their sophomore album, Brand New Me, which is set to arrive via Velocity Records and Equal Vision Records. This serves as the band’s follow up to their debut album Wish I Missed U which was released September 2021, and featured Circa Survive’s Anthony Green on the title track. 

Produced by Mike Pepe (Taking Back Sunday, As It Is, Bayside, Anthony Green), the pop-rock project is composed of five ear-catchy tracks written and recorded entirely during the COVID-19 pandemic. “Free Ride,” the first single off of the Elvis In Wonderland EP, discusses lyrical themes of deception and manipulation.

Highlights include Thursday, Get Up Kids, Alkaline Trio, Action Bronson and Jimmy Eat World along with Jawbox, along with Alexisonfire, The Academy Is...along with The Maine and many others. Full album plays include Thursday performing Full Collapse and Jeff Rosenstock performing SKA DREAM.

The band will be celebrating the 10th anniversary by hitting the road with Polyphia and Gouge Away in tow on their Blue Sky Noise 10 Year Anniversary Tour that will kickoff on release day.

The Old Globe invites your attendance and coverage as Globe for All celebrates six years of making theatre matter to more people! Our talented Globe for All company of professional actors will bring a stirring production of William Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale to a variety of economically, geographically, and culturally diverse communities throughout San Diego County. The free-admission Globe for All Tour kicks off on Tuesday, October 29 and will visit 19 Community Partner venues from San Ysidro to Oceanside. Director Daniel Jáquez returns to The Globe to helm this production of The Winter's Tale. His previous work at The Globe includes the 2017 direction and co-creation of the bilingual piece La Muerte Descansa en Paz (Death Rests in Peace), which was presented as part of one of The Old Globe's signature arts engagement programs, coLAB, and he was a participant in this year's The Old Globe Classical Directing Fellowship, led by Erna Finci Viterbi Artistic Director Barry Edelstein.

After selling out the legendary Webster Hall earlier this summer, Emo Nite LA has announced they will be returning to the Big Apple to help launch the very missed Late Night series. Taking over the Grand Ballroom on Saturday, November 23rd, this will be an event unlike any other.
