Studio Theatre's BAYWAY ARTS CENTER will welcome Broadway performer, Angie Schworer, as its guest of honor at their July 9th official opening Gala and ribbon cutting ceremony. The evening will also feature the L.I. Regional Theatre 'Premiere' of the Broadway musical CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, of which Ms. Schworer was an original cast member.

Celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Producers with an in-person and live-streamed event on June 29th featuring Tony Award- winning director and choreographer Susan Stroman.

Electric Island​ is a new musical conceived and written by Rachelle Rak with music and additional lyrics by Steven Jamail. This developmental project tells the real stories of women working on Broadway: those working hard to go from show to show and aren’t the recognized stars above the marquee. Shining light on women of all ages, ethnicities, and sexual orientations, ​Electric Island illuminates how these performers have navigated the highs and lows of a life in the theater--on stage and off.

'Still Standing' is a video  celebrating the amazing professional artists, on and off stage, who are anxiously awaiting the day when  the lights of Broadway will once again be lit and audiences around the world can come back to the theatre.  

Jack Sippel (The Prom) and Brendon Stimson (Mean Girls), in association with the Broadway Podcast Network, have announced the new podcast AGAIN FROM THE TOP.  The new podcast explores the moment in performing arts professional’s careers that they found their stride.

This week's Theater Stories features the Longacre Theatre! Learn about the shows to have graced the theater's stage including A Bronx Tale, The Prom, and The Lightning Thief, the next show that is set to open at the theater, Diana, and much more!

The Prom is going international! The Broadway musical will come to the Netherlands in 2022. This is the first time the musical will be performed in a country outside of the U.S.
