While in rehearsal, young fine actor-influencer Khalil Ramos recently sat down with BroadwayWorld for a short interview, which turned out insightful, grateful, and anxiety-driven, too, brought about by the actor’s 12 years in mainstream show business, marked with occasional highs and lows.

The Muny has announced its full cast, design and production teams for the cult classic, Little Shop of Horrors, July 25 - 31. 

Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts will present sweeping array of bold and diverse programming for the fall/winter of its 2023/2024 Season.

Stop the clock and take time out, because tick, tick…BOOM!, the acclaimed off-Broadway smash hit musical that inspired the Andrew Garfield Netflix film is finally making its way to Adelaide for a strictly limited season, opening this June. 

Moulin Rouge! is based on the 2001 Baz Luhrmann film of the same name and originally starred Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman. Known for its somber tale and use of modern music in a vintage setting, the story and its elements translated extremely well to the stage while also being different enough to appreciate the stage musical in its own right. The updated music for a 2023 audience, a strong cast and crew, and a tale of desperate, devoted love all make this production Moulin Rouge! excel beyond the surface of the fantasy.

The Muny has announced that three-time Tony nominated actor Robin De Jesús, Patti Murin, Michael McGrath, Ryan Vasquez and Nicholas Ward will star in the comedy to die for, Little Shop of Horrors, July 25-31, 2023.

Second Generation Theatre presents Jonathan Larson's TICK,TICK…BOOM! May 19-June 4 at the Shea's Smith Theatre.

What did our critic think of TICK, TICK... BOOM! at Vintage Theatre? Jonathan Larson is one of those artists who, because they died young (and infamously), will live on through their treasured work. Rent, of course, is the big one for him. Though his lesser known work, Tick, Tick... Boom!

Linda Emond, Wesley Taylor, and Jeremy Shamos have joined the upcoming third season of Only Murders in the Building in recurring roles. Season three of the hit comedy will also feature Steve Martin, Martin Short, Selena Gomez, Meryl Streep, Ashley Park, Jesse Williams, Paul Rudd, and Andrea Martin. It is set to follow the making of a Broadway show.

What did our critic think of TICK, TICK... BOOM! at BoHoTheatre? 'They're singing happy birthday / you just want to lay down and cry' - Who hasn't resonated with these lyrics at some point in their lives? Despite its 90s punk rock aesthetic, Jonathan Larson's tick, tick...Boom! so accurately captures the essence of your late 20s. Whether it's straddling the decision of whether to 'settle down,' or watching your friends' careers take off while yours feels stagnant, anyone can relate to the challenges depicted in this gem of a show. With Director Bo Frazier at the helm, BoHo Theatre brings this intimate-yet-in-your-face musical to life with a superbly talented cast, highlighting trans and gender non-conforming voices in the process.
