The Golden Theatre was the place to be last night as Suzan-Lori Parks' Pulitzer Prize-winning Topdog/Underdog officially opened on Broadway. Directed by Tony Award-winner Kenny Leon, it stars Emmy Award-winner Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Watchmen, Candyman) and Tony Award-nominee Corey Hawkins (In the Heights, The Tragedy of Macbeth). Gravitas Ventures, an Anthem Sports & Entertainment Company, will release Glimpse, a new film written and directed by Theresa Rebeck, May 6 in theaters and on-demand worldwide.

Symphony Space will present Wall to Wall Selected Shorts, a monumental celebration of short fiction, March 26 in Symphony Space’s Peter Jay Sharp theater in New York City (2537 Broadway at 95th Street).

The 24 Hour Plays: Viral Monologues will return for tonight on Instagram @24hourplays. A bold group of top actors and writers have been paired to create a set of all-new pieces. From 6 PM onward, the new monologues will be published, one every 15 minutes.

 The 24 Hour Plays: Viral Monologues will return on Tuesday, October 26th, with an all new series of unforgettable performances. Thirteen actors have been paired with writers who have crafted unique pieces especially for them. From 6 PM until 10 PM, new monologues will be published every 15 minutes.
