Producer Laura Elrick is thrilled to announce that acclaimed Meisner Teacher and Director Steven Ditmyer will be directing Al Tapper's Bettinger's Luggage, scheduled to open September 19th, 2023 at AMT Theater.

Brian Childers will join the cast of AMT Theater’s new musical, On The Right Track. It features music by Al Tapper and a book by Tony Sportiello and is directed by celebrated Mexican director Mauricio Cedeño  with music direction by Katie Coleman. Childers will replace Cody Gerszewski beginning Thursday, April 20, 2023, joining Dana Aber (Off Broadway: An Unbalanced Mind) and David L. Murray Jr. (Recent: The Mountaintop, Songs for a New World).

AMT Theater will debut the new musical, On The Right Track, with music by Al Tapper and a book by Tony Sportiello; it will be directed by celebrated Mexican director Mauricio Cedeño with music direction by Katie Coleman.

AMT Theater is thrilled to announce the opening of 'On The Right Track', a musical comedy, music and lyrics by Al Tapper, book by Tony Sportiello, directed by Mauricio Cedeño, opening at its beautiful new theater on West 45th Street April 5th in Hell's Kitchen. The show is open ended. Casting will be announced later in the month.

Award winning Mexican director Mauricio Cedeño will direct AMT Theater's first musical show of the season - 'On The Right Track', book by Tony Sportiello, words and music by Al Tapper.

On the heels of the renovations at the AMT Theater, producers Tom D’Angora and Michael D’Angora will be calling the space “home” in 2023.  The duo is behind several long running off-Broadway hits including NEWSical the Musical, Naked Boys Singing, and A Musical About Star Wars and more.

AMT Theater, led by veteran Broadway composer Al Tapper, and under the artistic direction of playwright and producer Tony Sportiello, announced that through a partnership founded by AMT Mexican liaison Laura Iniguez it will join forces with the Instituto de Desarrollo Artistico (The Artistic Development Institute or I.D.E.A) to provide nine musical theater students the opportunity to travel from Guadalajara, Mexico to New York City to experience theater making in the big apple, October 25th through October 30th.

New York City's newest Off-Broadway theatre presents its first full production, An Unbalanced Mind opening July 24. An Unbalanced Mind is a musical revue exploring the original music of Al Tapper, ranging from pastiche-style songs from the Golden Era of musicals, soaring pop ballads, and toe-tapping dance numbers.
