WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Shane Peterman today announced casting and creative details for The Bridges of Madison County in Concert. 

The William Way LGBT Community Center and artist/entrepreneur Alex Stadler have teamed up to collaborate on a special exhibition and public memorial service for those lost in the early AIDS pandemic in the city of Philadelphia.

MCC Theater announced today a two-week extension for the World Premiere production of soft by Donja R. Love (one in two). Directed by Whitney White (On Sugarland), soft will now run through July 10, 2022 in the Susan & Ronald Frankel Theater at The Robert W. Wilson MCC Theater Space. Check out opening night photos!

This summer, The Coterie will produce the world premiere of the new family musical, Alice’s Wonderland, adapted from Lewis Carroll’s classic story and featuring an original score with book, music and lyrics by J. Mabou Mines will present a 50th Anniversary Celebration of Work, reaching back into the company’s brimming five-decade history of innovative theater as a launchpad into the next 50 years (June 23–25; beginning 5pm June 23; 5pm–11 pm June 24; and 12pm–11pm June 25).

Starting Memorial Day weekend and running through Labor Day, the Norton of Museum of Art will host a wide array of exhibitions, events, and family activities as part of its second annual Summer at the Norton programming initiative (May 28 – Sept. 5).

MCC Theater’s production of soft will now resume performances on Saturday, May 28 at 2:30pm. They played one preview performance on Thursday May 12. Opening night is now scheduled for June 9 and the production will run through June 26.
