Hairspray The Musical is based in 1962 Baltimore, the show answers the question, “Can a big girl with big hair and even bigger dreams, dance her way into changing the world?”

The film was written and directed by Addison Heimann and stars Zach Villa (American Horror Story), Devon Graye (I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore), Madeline Zima (Californication), Chris Doubek (Boyhood), Marlene Forte (Knives Out), and Paget Brewster (Criminal Minds). The film is a Minutehand Pictures production.

The summer camp-set third season of High School Musical: the Musical: the Series will include a performance of Disney's Frozen. In addition to music from Frozen, season three will feature music from Camp Rock and the High School Musical franchise.
